Pink China roses known as "Yueding," now blooming across several of Beijing's landmark bridges and ring roads, have become one of the city's most eye-catching attractions this year, drawing widespread attention from residents and social media users alike.
Among the most popular viewing spots is the Sihui Bridge on the Fourth Ring Road. Viewing from above, rows of pink roses appear like delicate necklaces adorning both sides of the roadways, creating a vibrant and picturesque urban landscape.
"Yueding" is a rose variety independently developed in Beijing. One of its most notable features is its exceptionally long blooming season, which lasts from early May until mid-November—up to 200 days. The variety is also well suited to urban environments, with strong resistance to high temperatures, wind, and vehicle exhaust pollution.
