China's ZXMOTO once again showcased the strength of Chinese manufacturing with another victory in the Supersport World Championship on Saturday.

In Race 1 of the FIM Supersport World Championship (WorldSSP) at the Emilia-Romagna Round, French rider Valentin Debise of China's ZXMOTO won, securing his sixth win of the season with the Chinese manufacturer.

With a total length of 4.2 kilometers, the track in the race has 16 turns, most of which are low-speed technical corners.

In face of different tracks, being able to adjust and adapt with supply chain has become a key factor in winning races.

"Every day, every week, there are materials coming from China. They are used to upgrade the racing motorbikes, making them more competitive," said Fabio Evangelista, operation manager of ZXMOTO in Italy.

After the game, Mauro Pellegrini, technical director of ZXMOTO in Italy, said a crucial China-made part that keeps motorcycle steady in the corners is the triple clamp.

"It's more robust, ensuring the bike's stability. We're using it now. I knew and believed that China could build a good motorcycle, but the fact that it's this good has exceeded all my expectations.I can say it's an almost perfect racing motorcycle," said Pellegrini.

For quite a long time, European and Japanese brands are the two main competitors in WorldSSP at the FIM Supersport World Championship. However, the join-in of ZXMOTO, a Chinese manufacturer, has made the race even more thrilling.

"But the new arrivals, the new manufacturers have put more challenge to everyone. This is good for the sport, for the competition. It's clear that not only a motorcycle as well the automotive, the Chinese brands' quality is every time higher, higher and higher, and now it is improving as well. In the performance point of view, they are quite competitive," said Gregorio Lavilla, executive director of Superbike World Championship (WorldSBK).

The first batch of five autonomous region-level archaeological site parks in southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region was officially inaugurated on Saturday at an event for the Cultural and Natural Heritage Day, marking a new step in the region's archaeological site protection and revitalization.

The five sites include the first Neolithic site discovered in central Xizang. Another showcases the hunting culture of ancient lake-shore communities on the plateau.

Xizang will continue to improve site protection, educational tours, archaeological research, and the construction of public facilities to ensure that archaeological research benefits the public, said Sun Dan, an official with the regional cultural heritage bureau.

China's central government has long attached great importance to protecting cultural resources in Xizang. For instance, China has invested over 110 million yuan (about 16.15 million U.S. dollars) in a conservation and utilization project focused on ancient manuscripts, including the palm-leaf manuscripts of the Potala Palace, according to the region's cultural heritage administration.

In January this year, local cultural and tourism authorities announced that in the fourth national census of cultural relics, Xizang had newly identified 3,346 heritage sites, ranking among the top regions nationwide for new discoveries.
