Hong Kong's stock market ended higher Monday with the benchmark Hang Seng Index up 0.98 percent to close at 25,207.18 points.
The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index rose 1.14 percent to end at 8,365.38 points, and the Hang Seng Tech Index increased by 1.57 percent to end at 4,702.05 points.
Hong Kong stocks close higher Monday
The STAR Composite Index, which reflects the performance of stocks on China's sci-tech innovation board, closed 2.49 percent higher at 1,989.31 points on Monday.
The STAR 50 Index, which tracks the 50 largest stocks listed on the board that also meet certain liquidity requirements, closed 1.16 percent higher at 1,807.95 points.
The sci-tech innovation board, commonly known as the STAR Market, was inaugurated in June 2019 at Shanghai Stock Exchange. It is designed to support companies in the high-tech and strategic emerging sectors.
