The 10th China International Import Expo (CIIE) launched an exhibitor recruitment drive in Shanghai on Monday, with 68 companies already committing to next year's event.

Monday also marked the 100-day countdown to the opening of the ninth CIIE. At the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), 68 companies signed up a year in advance to secure space for next year's event, with total contracted exhibition area exceeding 50,000 square meters.

More than 30 companies have participated in every edition of the CIIE since its inception, earning the title of "all-session exhibitors."

"We are one of the CIIE's full-attendance exhibitors. The CIIE is an excellent window for us to connect with the world, and it is also our most important stage for launching new products," said Tan Yingying, a company representative.

"The CIIE has created a platform for multilateral, mutually beneficial trade. Through the dual circulation of 'buying globally and selling globally,' it links China with international markets. We are not just witness of nine years of the CIIE; we are true beneficiaries," said Sheng Wenhao, another company representative.

On the same day, the ninth CIIE Promotion and Roadshow was held at the Shanghai venue, featuring an "Exhibitor-Purchaser Matchmaking Corridor." The event brought together 64 exhibitors from the CIIE's six major exhibition zones, innovation incubation areas, and both domestic and international exhibition organizers, along with 202 buyers for supply-demand matchmaking and business talks. A total of 37 Fortune Global 500 companies and leading industry players took part in the event.

"We specifically signed an agreement with a bonded processing company at the Yangshan special comprehensive bonded zone. By changing this supply node, it has expanded the whole market for us and represents a major innovation for the cross-border supply chain," said Sun Jiangchun, a purchasing manager.
