New C2 Boasts Same Revolutionary 'True QD-Mini LED Technology' and OmniView Matte Screen™ as Company's Flagship Canvas Elite™ Art TV Delivering Near OLED-Level Performance

CYPRESS, Calif., Sept. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- SKYWORTH, a global innovator in advanced display technologies and one of the top 5 TV brands in the world, today announced the debut of the C2 Canvas Art® TV, the newest addition to the company's acclaimed Canvas Art® TV lineup, available in 55", 65", and 75" models.

Boasting the same cutting-edge 'True QD-Mini LED Technology' and OmniView Matte Screen™ as SKYWORTH's flagship Canvas Elite™ Art TV, the C2 features over 400 local dimming zones and a stunning 1000 nits of peak brightness. By making premium QD-Mini LED technology the new minimum standard for SKYWORTH Art TVs, the C2 establishes a new category-wide benchmark for performance, quality, and value in the fast growing Art TV category. The Canvas Art® TVs serve dual purposes as both premium televisions and digital art galleries.

Commitment to Custom Integration Excellence
SKYWORTH's dedication to the custom integration market extends beyond product innovation. The company offers integrators top-tier drivers for seamless integration with many of the industry's top control platforms, such as Control4 and Crestron and many others -- coupled with a focused digital sales strategy designed to maximize installer margins and streamline the specification process.

Custom integrators can also outfit the C2 with a fully customizable frame through SKYWORTH's partnership with hydroframes, available in black, silver, gold, white, and walnut, or in any custom pattern or color, with simple one-step installation over the TV's existing bezel.

"From Palette to Pixel: Illuminate Life with Art"
Michael Gleason, Director of Sales, SKYWORTH USA, commented on the significance of the C2 debut, noting: "For years, the Art TV category has required consumers to accept a frustrating compromise: sacrifice visual depth and image quality for a beautiful frame. The industry standard expected buyers to settle for flat, edge-lit QLED panels that function well as ambient art but wash out the moment the lights go down for cinematic viewing.  Our C2 Canvas Art® TV shatters this paradigm by establishing a definitive new standard for Art TVs. Rather than lowering our technical specifications to meet the competition, we integrated the advanced display DNA of our flagship CE1 Canvas Elite™ Art TV into our standard Canvas Art® lineup. The result is a magnificent display that literally leaves the competition in the dust."

SKYWORTH C2 Canvas Art® TV: The New Standard for Masterpiece Displays
While the Canvas Elite™ Art TV remains the no-expense-spared showcase of absolute luxury with the highest specs available, by bringing such elite features as QD-Mini LED technology and the OmniView Matte Screen™ directly to standard Art TVs, the C2 truly transcends its category.

Specs at a Glance:

  • 144Hz refresh rate
  • 400+ full-array local dimming zones
  • 1,000 nits of peak brightness
  • True HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support
  • Built-in subwoofer with Dolby Atmos – no external soundbar required

The result is a hybrid of gallery-ready aesthetic design and high-quality performance. Far from the stripped-down display typical of standard Art TVs, the SKYWORTH C2 Canvas Art® TV is a complete restoration of texture, shadow, and emotion, proving that the modern living room does not have to choose between art and engineering.

C2 Upgrades the Canvas Art® Portfolio
In addition to the new Canvas C2, the Canvas Art® line includes the C1 available in 75-, 55-, and 65-inch models. This comprehensive range ensures custom integrators can offer clients the perfect size for any space while maintaining the signature blend of 4K entertainment and artistic display capabilities that has made the Canvas series a favorite among discerning homeowners.

Availability and Pricing
SKYWORTH will debut the C2 Canvas Art® TV at the CEDIA Expo 2026 (Booth 2923). The new line will be available through SKYWORTH's authorized custom integration dealer network.  Pricing and availability details will be announced at CEDIA.

CyberHero debuts in Saudi Arabia as Hero Esports expands into robotic sports and launches the CyberHero Saudi–China Scholar Program for up to 30 students

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia, Sept. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Hero Esports, Asia's largest esports company, has unveiled CyberHero, a new global robotic sports initiative that will make its live debut in Riyadh on 9 September 2026 with the Middle East's first humanoid robot kickboxing event.

The initiative was first introduced by Danny Tang, Co-founder and CEO of Hero Esports, during the opening day of LEAP, where Tang joined the main-stage panel "Esports as the Next Mass-media Industry: Building the New Sports and Entertainment Sector."

Tang appeared alongside Rawan AlButairi, CEO of the Saudi Esports Federation, and Niccolo Maisto, CEO of ESL FACEIT Group, in a discussion moderated by Mo Islam, Founder and Host of The Mo Show Podcast.

The first CyberHero x Riyadh showcase will feature ten EngineAI T800 humanoid robots competing live in a purpose-built combat arena. Robots from other leading robotics brands are also expected to make an appearance at the show.

The Riyadh event will mark the first in a planned series of CyberHero events in major cities worldwide, combining robotic competition with live entertainment and immersive experiences.

"Hero Esports has always been about building moments that people want to experience together. CyberHero takes that philosophy beyond traditional esports and into a new category," said Danny Tang, Co-founder and CEO of Hero Esports.

"We're starting in Riyadh because this iconic city is a meeting point between East and West," Tang said. "That makes it a natural home for the first CyberHero event — a place where technology, talent and ideas from different parts of the world can converge."

Humanoid robots enter the ring

CyberHero x Riyadh will feature ten EngineAI T800 humanoid robots, developed by Shenzhen-based robotics company EngineAI.

At approximately 1.73 metres tall and 75–85 kg, the T800 is comparable in size to a full-grown adult man. With 29 articulated joints, it can walk, run, punch, kick, turn and recover after falls — capabilities that will be put to the test in live combat scenarios on September 9, showcasing motion control, balance, reaction speed and combat strategy.

EngineAI staged the opening event of its T800 robot fighting league in Shenzhen on July 16, 2026. For CyberHero x Riyadh, the robots will return with an upgraded combat package, giving a live audience its first look at a new series of T800 combat moves.

The approximately two-hour event will combine robotic competition with music, lighting and immersive live entertainment, including a live set from a rising international DJ.

CyberHero x Riyadh will take place on 9 September 2026, starting at 9:00 PM — 9/9 at 9 — at a venue in Riyadh to be announced soon. Doors will open at 8:30 PM.

Connecting Saudi Arabia and China through robotics

Alongside CyberHero, Hero Esports plans to establish the CyberHero Saudi–China Scholar Program, designed to foster deeper connections between young talent and the robotics ecosystems of the two countries.

In its first phase, the program will provide opportunities for up to 30 Saudi students to visit China, taking participants across three different Chinese cities to experience the country's rapidly developing robotics and Physical AI ecosystem firsthand.

The program is expected to include visits to robotics companies, technology institutions and other organizations working at the forefront of the sector, creating opportunities for learning, exchange and future collaboration.

"Through this program, we hope to create more opportunities for dialogue and learning between young students, industry and research institutions in Saudi Arabia and China," Tang said. "We hope the relationships formed through the program can become a starting point for people to create and build together."
