SHANGHAI, Sept. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Shanghai Electric (SEHK: 02727, SSE: 601727) has achieved a milestone in the high-end overseas energy sector by securing the contract for Unit 3 of the Sarawak Samalaju Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) Project in Malaysia. The win represents significant international recognition of Shanghai Electric's heavy-duty gas turbine technology, underscoring the company's growing competitiveness in the global gas turbine market.
Under the agreement, Shanghai Electric will deliver a full EPC turnkey solution for the gas-fired power plant, coupled with a 25-year long-term service agreement (LTSA) covering all major equipment. Notably, every core component—from gas turbines and steam turbines to generators, heat recovery steam generators, and air-cooled systems—will be manufactured in-house by Shanghai Electric, which will also serve as the sole provider of the long-term maintenance and service program. This integrated, end-to-end capability gives Shanghai Electric full life-cycle coverage, spanning equipment manufacturing, systems integration, and multi-decade operational support—a vertical model that brings the company on par with the established global leaders in the heavy-duty gas turbine sector.
Shanghai Electric's current heavy-duty gas turbine lineup features two principal models, with output ratings of 300 MW and 78 MW, respectively. To date, the company has delivered 103 units, with total installed capacity from commissioned projects exceeding 21,000 MW. The units covered by Shanghai Electric's long-term service and maintenance programs have accumulated more than 1.3 million operating hours. With robust production capacity available across both turbine classes, Shanghai Electric is positioned to offer new units for delivery as early as 2028. Beyond the Malaysian energy developer that awarded the current contract, project developers in Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Vietnam have also expressed strong interest in placing orders.

Shanghai Electric Secures First Overseas Heavy-Duty Gas Turbine Order for 500 MW Malaysian Project
FULLERTON, Calif., Nov. 7, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- ecozy, a leader in smart home appliances, today announced the launch of the Brezzano Switch 2-in-1 Espresso Machine, an entry-level home coffee maker that delivers espresso and true drip coffee. Designed to make home brewing simple and convenient, it features two distinct brewing styles and an intuitive on-screen brewing guide. With its versatile functions and user-friendly design, the Brezzano Switch is an ideal first coffee machine for beginners.
Two Brewing Styles in One Compact Machine
The ecozy Brezzano Switch combines drip coffee and espresso brewing in one sleek, compact machine, offering more ways to make coffee and elevating your at-home brewing experience. Unlike other espresso machines in the same price range, it features dedicated components for each brewing method: a portafilter and basket for espresso, and a drip coffee basket with a mesh filter for drip coffee. Each mode also has its own optimized brewing parameters for the best results.
What makes it special is its ability to deliver true drip coffee. The drip mode uses optimized pressure and water flow, paired with a wide showerhead to ensure even saturation and thorough extraction, delivering a rich, smooth, and balanced cup with a flavor profile similar to pour-over coffee. It brews 1–2 servings of true drip coffee in just 75 seconds, without the burnt bitterness or crema often found in espresso-based Americano, making it ideal for busy mornings.
Precise Extraction for Barista-Quality Coffee
With its powerful features, the ecozy Brezzano Switch is able to meet a variety of coffee preferences. Its built-in 20-bar high-pressure pump provides the pressure needed to extract espresso with a rich crema. The PID + NTC Temperature Control System continuously monitors and regulates water temperature to maintain stable brewing conditions and consistent flavor in every cup. It also comes with a steam wand that creates hot, finely textured microfoam for lattes and cappuccinos. Whether you prefer rich espresso or true drip coffee, the Brezzano Switch makes it easy to enjoy your favorite coffee at home.
Smart Full-Color Touchscreen for Easy Operation
The Brezzano Switch takes your home coffee experience to the next level with a vibrant, full-color touchscreen that adds a modern, tech-inspired look to your countertop. Beyond its visual appeal, the intuitive interface provides on-screen guidance for basket type selection, grind size, and coffee grounds preparation. Real-time machine status updates keep users informed of brewing progress, making the entire experience easier to follow. Even coffee beginners can quickly master the basics and make a quality cup with confidence.
Effortless Maintenance
The ecozy Brezzano Switch simplifies everyday upkeep with a one-touch self-cleaning function that takes the hassle out of routine care. The water tank and drip tray can be detached for more thorough cleaning, while a built-in reminder alerts users after every 500 brewing cycles, helping them stay on top of regular maintenance and keep the machine ready for its next cup.
