European stock markets ended mixed on Monday.
The United Kingdom's FTSE 100 index gained 0.44 percent to close at 10,697.57 points. France's CAC 40 index lost 0.76 percent to finish at 8,117.78 points. Germany's DAX index dropped 0.50 percent to end the session at 25,440.81 points.

Global nuclear power capacity could more than triple by 2060, according to a reported released by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on Monday.
The IAEA released its report Energy, Electricity and Nuclear Power Estimates for the Period up to 2060 at the 70th IAEA General Conference in Vienna.
The report states that as countries increasingly consider leveraging nuclear power to meet electricity demand and ensure energy security, global installed nuclear power capacity could more than triple by 2060, with small modular reactors expected to emerge as a significant new source of clean energy.
This marks the sixth consecutive year that the agency has raised its forecast for nuclear power expansion. The report also emphasizes the need to prepare for and offset reactor retirements.
