Russia said on Wednesday that its forces attacked Ukrainian targets including a logistics center, while Ukraine, on the same day, reported destroying large amounts of Russian equipment on the front lines.
In an official report, the Russian Defense Ministry said its jets, strike drones, missile forces and artillery struck Ukrainian logistics centers, fuel depots, military energy facilities, drone production workshops, and mustering points for Ukrainian troops and foreign mercenaries in 143 areas.
The ministry also said that Russian forces had taken control of Krasny Yar and Potikhanovo, two settlements in the Kharkiv region, while its air defenses had shot down three guided missiles and 868 fixed-wing drones.
In an update released on Wednesday morning, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said that over the past 24 hours the Ukrainian Air Force, missile batteries and artillery had hit a Russian drone command and launch site. It said Ukrainian forces had destroyed Russian military equipment including tanks, armored vehicles and drones.
Separately, Ukraine's state oil and gas company Naftogaz reported Wednesday that a gas station in Kyiv was hit, with no casualties. According to several Ukrainian internet service providers, a data center in the capital was damaged, causing disruptions to network services.
