SHANGHAI, Sept. 28, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- In 2026, China's health and nutrition industry ushers in a historic opportunity. China's market for medicine and food homology products is projected to exceed RMB 450 billion, while the industry's full value chain is valued at more than RMB 2 trillion. Health spending is shifting decisively from reactive treatment to proactive wellness. The year also marks the start of China's 15th Five-Year Plan, as the national health-first development strategy moves from national policy design to broad implementation. Proactive health demand among nearly 400 million members of the "new silver generation" is accelerating, while Generation Z is driving medicine and food homology products, snack-format health foods, imported dietary supplements, and ingestible beauty products to new peaks in consumer demand.

With consumer demand, policy support, and technological advances working in concert, a far-reaching transformation is reshaping the structure and direction of the industry. For over 15 years, HNCEXPO has both witnessed and helped drive this change. From Shanghai to Shenzhen, HNCEXPO has evolved alongside the industry, bringing together high-quality global resources and helping China's health and wellness sector expand from a hundred-billion-yuan market into a new trillion-yuan era.

The "Healthplex Expo, Natural & Nutraceutical Products Shenzhen" (HNCEXPO-Shenzhen), co-organized by CCCMHPIE and Sinoexpo Informa Markets, will take place at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center from October 13 to 15, 2026. Positioned at the strategic heart of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the exhibition will draw on Shenzhen's combined strengths as an innovation hub, an international gateway, and an industrial hub. It will connect the full value chain from R&D and manufacturing to trade, while directly linking exhibitors with distributors, agents, traders, chain retailers, specialty retailers, cross-border buyers, and other core sourcing channels.

A Full Value Chain Ecosystem Creates New Health Consumption Opportunities

HNCEXPO-Shenzhen's exhibits will span health foods, nutraceuticals, dietary supplements, diet therapy and tonic products, beauty and skin care products, sports nutrition, natural and organic products, pet health products, healthy water and premium oils, smart wellness equipment, home-use health devices, and smart eldercare facilities and services. This comprehensive portfolio will bring together health products for every stage of life and respond to the varied needs of different age groups, consumption scenarios, and wellness goals.

The Tonic Food Zone will be one of the exhibition's most distinctive sections. Classic ingredients including Ganoderma lucidum, bird's nest, Dendrobium officinale, Cordyceps sinensis, donkey-hide gelatin, ginseng, and American ginseng will come together in a showcase that combines the accumulated wisdom of traditional Chinese wellness practices with modern biotechnology. Innovative products that blend traditional methods with contemporary technology, including Ganoderma lucidum spore powder, herbal enzyme preparations, and herbal tonic pastes, will be presented together. Advanced processes such as supercritical extraction and enzymatic hydrolysis can improve the absorption and bioavailability of active ingredients, enabling traditional tonic products to enter modern life in safer, more convenient, and more effective forms. From quality traceability for authentic medicinal ingredients to experience-led presentations by contemporary Chinese wellness brands, the zone will create a setting for meaningful exchange between traditional knowledge and modern consumption. Leading companies and premium brands have confirmed their participation and will present innovative formulations, advanced finished products, and complete technical solutions, demonstrating new applications of traditional botanicals in contemporary wellness.

The Healthy Beauty Zone will respond to the latest wave of demand for "inner nourishment and outer care". Oral beauty supplements, functional repair skincare, AI-powered multispectral skin analyzers, smart light-therapy anti-aging devices, anti-aging physical therapy devices for posture and body alignment, and natural and organic personal care products will be featured together. Spanning ingestible and topical care as well as integrated physical and emotional well-being, the zone will present a complete portfolio of health and beauty solutions. A new Pet Nutrition Zone will address growing demand for pet wellness as the pet economy expands. China's pet market is projected to exceed RMB 500 billion in 2026, and pet health is becoming a priority for a growing number of households. The LOHAS Wellness Zone will focus on premium demand across health and nutrition, natural and organic products, and smart wellness. Its exhibits will range from cold-pressed olive oil and flaxseed oil to natural mineral water and hydrogen-rich drinking water; from certified organic agricultural products to forest foods; and from wellness products to smart home-use devices. Together, they will create a diverse offering that extends from basic nutrition to health services.

Global Resources and Targeted Matchmaking Build an Efficient Trade Hub

A high-quality trade show creates value through both product discovery and business connections. Drawing on an extensive buyer database and years of industry resource integration, the exhibition will provide an integrated online and offline business matchmaking system designed to turn introductions into real orders. The previous edition welcomed professional buyers from more than 80 countries and regions, including Thailand, Canada, Italy, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, India, the United States, etc. Overseas buyer attendance increased by 28% year on year. This year's exhibition will step up outreach to international buyers and deepen engagement with them, further reinforcing its role as a global industry platform.

A series of targeted matchmaking events will also be held on site. Sourcing sessions for emerging e-commerce channels and leading retail channels will give exhibitors access to multiple routes to market. Multi-channel network (MCN) agencies and influencers, community group-buying operators, retailers, traders, and overseas buyer delegations will gather at the venue. Strong participation by corporate decision-makers and core procurement teams will help business discussions reach the right stakeholders and improve conversion efficiency. The Overseas Buyer Business Matchmaking event will focus on connecting exhibitors with professional buyers from across the Asia-Pacific region. Its series of one-to-one meetings will create new avenues for Chinese brands to expand international cooperation while matching high-quality overseas resources with demand in China.

Industry Forums Examine Emerging Trends

The exhibition's conference program will provide another major dimension beyond the show floor. More than 20 high-level forums, conferences, and special activities will bring together representatives from government, industry, academia, and research institutions. Discussions will focus on policy and regulatory developments, industry trends, emerging technologies, and marketing innovation, providing the industry with forward-looking insights and practical solutions.

The Platform Continues to Support High-Quality Industry Growth

Over successive editions, HNCEXPO-Shenzhen has developed from a product showcase into an integrated strategic platform for building brand visibility, connecting industry resources, and identifying future trends. It has become a core event in the annual exhibition plans of many companies. Leading brands including SIRIO, BIOHIGH, ERA, FTCM, UNION HEALTH, WRIGHT LIFE, 1Q HEALTH, ACORN, DUNKANG, WEIMING TAIYAN, BHBIO, BIOBOR, GABE HEALTH, DR KANG, NUTRYFARM, HANDIAN, and LEAWELL will exhibit alongside international companies from Australia, New Zealand, the United States, South Korea, and other countries and regions.

In October, the global health industry will turn its attention to Shenzhen, drawing interest from across the Asia-Pacific and beyond. With broader international reach, more targeted services, and richer resources, HNCEXPO-Shenzhen 2026 will join industry partners in building a stronger health industry ecosystem. Health and nutrition professionals from around the world are invited to gather in Shenzhen for this major industry event.

Global Health Power Converges in the Greater Bay Area • Shaping a New Era of Trade and Commerce -- HNCEXPO-Shenzhen 2026 Opens This October

SINGAPORE, Sept. 28, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Midea Building Technologies (MBT) will participate in Data Centre World Asia 2026 on September 29–30 at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. At Booth T10, MBT will present three highlights: the industry's first power-cooling hyperconverged architecture, a full-stack AI data centre (AIDC) cooling solution with three flagship products, and strategic collaboration with Keppel. An Omdia white paper commissioned by Midea will be released on the afternoon of September 29.

As AI workloads push rack densities far beyond CPU-era designs, data centres face two critical challenges: bringing sufficient power into the facility, and removing heat efficiently once it is there. Conventional designs treat the two as separate engineering disciplines — an approach that becomes harder to sustain as rack power climbs.

To address them, MBT will launch the AIDC Converged Infrastructure White Paper, developed with CLOU Electronics. This white paper puts forward a future trend with hyperconverged architecture as the core. This architecture integrates electrical power, energy storage, magnetic-bearing cooling sources and liquid-cooling CDU systems into a unified stack. By coordinating power, storage and cooling at the system level, it provides a technical pathway for high-density, high-efficiency and low-carbon AI data centre development.

Another key highlight will be MBT's full-stack AIDC cooling solution, connecting cooling source, distribution and terminal heat rejection for high-density, high-temperature and water-constrained computing environments. The Magnetic CDU serves as a core product: by integrating a magnetic-bearing cooling source with coolant distribution in one system, it is designed to reduce equipment footprint by up to 70%, shorten deployment time and support system PUE below 1.2 under suitable operating conditions. The Air-Cooled Magnetic Bearing Centrifugal Chiller, with a COP of up to 5.4, and the Industrial-Grade CDU, offering 2.6 MW of cooling capacity, will complete the lineup.

In addition, MBT is strategically cooperating with Keppel to present the iconic Gui'an Midea Cloud Data Centre project. Combining MBT's HVAC capabilities with Keppel's digital infrastructure expertise, the project delivers up to 7,654 hours of free cooling annually at a stable PUE below 1.2 — a practical example of energy-efficient design and operation at scale.

MBT invites customers, partners and industry professionals to Booth T10 to explore its system-level thermal management innovations for the high-density AI era.
