SINGAPORE, Sept. 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- INTSIG, a leading AI product company specialised in text intelligence, showcased TextIn, its enterprise-grade Document AI platform, at Cloud & AI Infrastructure Asia 2026, part of Tech Week Singapore. The event marked another step in INTSIG's expanding footprint in Southeast Asia and highlighted the growing role of Document AI in enterprise AI adoption.

Held under the theme "The Infrastructure Era," Tech Week Singapore 2026 brought together over 30,000 participants across five co-located technology shows, with Cloud & AI Infrastructure Asia focusing on cloud strategy, AI deployment, data architecture and infrastructure resilience.  As AI adoption accelerates across Singapore and Southeast Asia, enterprises need more effective ways to unlock information from complex documents. A 2026 report by McKinsey, the Singapore Economic Development Board and Tech in Asia found that 46% of surveyed companies have moved beyond AI pilots to scaling, compared with a global average of 35%.

At the event, INTSIG demonstrated key capabilities across its TextIn Document AI portfolio:

  • xParse is TextIn's AI-native document infrastructure for LLMs, AI agents and RAG applications. It delivers high-precision parsing across multilingual documents and complex layouts, accurately recognising challenging table structures including merged cells, multi-page tables and borderless tables. By preserving semantic completeness and reading order, xParse converts complex documents into organised, AI-ready knowledge for downstream AI applications.
  • INTSIG DocFlow is an end-to-end document processing agent that automates document workflows from parsing, splitting and classification to information extraction and intelligent review. It combines document understanding with workflow automation to support complex, document-intensive scenarios across import and export, international settlements, credit review, corporate finance and supply chain finance.

MOU Signing: Advancing Enterprise AI Collaboration

During the event, INTSIG and Beyondsoft Singapore signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to establish a cooperation framework in Singapore. Beyondsoft, a global IT solutions and consulting provider with its international headquarters in Singapore, contributes expertise in enterprise AI consulting, digital transformation and solution integration. Through the partnership, the two companies will explore joint business opportunities and solutions, combining Beyondsoft Singapore's local capabilities with INTSIG's AI-powered document and data intelligence technologies to support enterprise AI adoption across Singapore and Southeast Asia.

"Enterprise AI starts with accessible and reliable business data. Through our partnership with Beyondsoft Singapore, we look forward to helping more enterprises across Singapore and Southeast Asia apply Document AI to streamline business operations," said Leo Li, General Manager of Smart Solutions Group at INTSIG.

Keynote: Turning Document Assets into Business Value
Bringing Document AI into real-world business scenarios, Kevin Li, Senior Solution Architecture Director at INTSIG, delivered a keynote titled "Turning Document Assets into Business Value With Enterprise Document Intelligence." The session showcased use cases across financial services, legal and compliance, cross-border trade and enterprise knowledge management, highlighting how document intelligence can be integrated into everyday business processes.

Kevin also shared real-world examples of how enterprises are using Document AI to improve operational efficiency, strengthen decision-making and unlock greater business value from their document assets.

Trusted by more than 4,000 enterprise customers worldwide and serving over 30 industries, INTSIG helps businesses turn complex documents into actionable business data. The company will further strengthen its partnerships and expand its Document AI capabilities across Southeast Asia, supporting enterprises as they apply AI to increasingly complex business processes.

SUZHOU, China, Sept. 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- A robotic hand developed by Chinese firm AGILINK has been taught foundational Suzhou embroidery techniques by master craftswoman Fu Xianghong, including separating silk threads, threading a needle, stretching fabric on an embroidery hoop and stitching.

The demonstration puts a robotic hand to work with one of the most delicate and deformable materials it can encounter: silk. A silk thread can bend, slip and change shape with slight changes in contact. Splitting silk requires one finger to separate individual strands while others maintain support and tension; twisting thread requires opposing fingertips to maintain contact while allowing the thread to turn. Threading a needle and stitching add further demands on positioning, force and coordination.

The OmniHand 3 Ultra combines 21 active degrees of freedom with a fully direct-drive architecture and tactile sensing across the fingertips, finger pads and palm. Vision-based tactile sensors at each fingertip detect changes in the contact surface, providing feedback as the hand handles thin, deformable materials.

"A single silk thread gives OmniHand 3 Ultra's fingertip dexterity a visible measure," said Qiao Tianjie, Vice President of AGIBOT and CEO of AGILINK. "It also reveals the possibility of handing more delicate work to machines."

The demonstration comes as AGILINK reaches a new stage of commercial scale. Spun out from AGIBOT in January 2026, the company has shipped more than 15,000 dexterous hands to date. In August, its OmniHand series competed across all eight dexterous-hand events at the World Humanoid Robot Games, winning seven gold, four silver and three bronze medals.

AGILINK reached unicorn status five months after launch, backed by investors including Hillhouse Ventures and Mirae Asset. Its fourth funding round in June valued the company at more than US$1 billion. The company sees dexterous manipulation of flexible and delicate materials as relevant to applications including cable handling, flexible-material assembly and precision-component manipulation.

"We'll have another pair of hands for delicate work," Fu said.
