Ltd. ("Chi Longevity"). Chi Longevity operates a healthy longevity medicine clinic in Singapore and was co-founded by Professor Andrea B. Maier, a global pioneer and world-renowned authority on healthy longevity. The collaboration^ with Chi Longevity includes the upcoming launch of AIA Alta's longevity centre later this year. Findings from the AIA Alta High-Net-Worth Optimal Longevity Index# revealed a meaningful gap between understanding longevity and taking action, with respondents demonstrating relatively strong awareness of longevity-related challenges (74 points) but significantly lower preparedness (54 points). It underscores a growing need among affluent individuals and families for practical, personalised solutions that support healthy ageing and long-term wellbeing. In response, AIA Alta is introducing^ Chi Longevity's expertise in precision geromedicine into its integrated ecosystem of health, wealth and lifestyle solutions, helping customers translate longevity aspirations into meaningful action and prepare for longer lives.

Mr Alger Fung, Chief Executive Officer of AIA Hong Kong & Macau, said: "Hong Kong is one of the world's longest-living societies. As longer lives become the norm, the question is no longer simply how long we live, but how well we live. As a leading insurer in Hong Kong, we see longevity not as a challenge, but as an opportunity to help people prepare for longer lives. That responsibility goes beyond protection. It is about empowering customers to maintain their health and wellbeing so they can enjoy longer, healthier and more fulfilling lives.

"This belief led us to collaborate with Chi Longevity^. By bringing evidence-based longevity science solutions to Hong Kong, we aim to help customers take a more proactive approach to their long-term health, empowering them to live Healthier, Longer, Better Lives."

Ms Alice Liang, Chief Proposition and Healthcare Officer of AIA Hong Kong & Macau, said: "Our AIA Alta High-Net-Worth Optimal Longevity Index revealed a clear gap between longevity awareness and preparedness. While many high-net-worth individuals recognise the opportunities that come with longer lives, far fewer feel equipped to act on them.

"Through AIA Alta's collaboration with Chi Longevity^, we are making longevity science more accessible and actionable for customers. As we prepare to launch AIA Alta's longevity centre later this year, we look forward to bringing together longevity science expertise with our integrated ecosystem of health, wealth and lifestyle solutions, helping customers approach longer lives with greater confidence, purpose and peace of mind."

Co-founded by Professor Andrea B. Maier, Chi Longevity applies an evidence-based approach to healthy longevity and precision geromedicine. Professor Maier is also the Co-Founder and Director of the NUS Academy for Healthy Longevity, Oon Chiew Seng Professor in Medicine at the National University of Singapore, and Professor of Gerontology at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.

Professor Andrea B. Maier, Co-Founder of Chi Longevity, said: "We are honoured to collaborate with AIA^, one of Asia's leading insurers. We were drawn to AIA's commitment to helping people prepare proactively for longer lives while empowering customers to take greater ownership of their long-term health and wellbeing.

"This collaboration^ brings together complementary strengths with a shared purpose: helping people not only live longer, but live better. Together, we aim to make evidence-based healthy longevity medicine more accessible through Chi Longevity's proprietary programmes, combining diagnostics with scientifically supported interventions that help individuals better understand how they are ageing, identify opportunities for action, and monitor their health over time."

Guided by its vision of supporting customers to achieve an optimal balance of health and wealth, AIA Alta has continued to advance its proposition through the launch of the inaugural AIA Alta High-Net-Worth Optimal Longevity Index, the establishment of the AIA Alta Prestige Wealth Centre, and the introduction of innovative health management solutions designed to support customers' long-term wellbeing. Together with its exclusive collaboration^ with Chi Longevity, these initiatives underscore AIA Alta's commitment to helping customers pursue Healthier, Longer, Better Lives through a holistic approach to longevity.

SINGAPORE – Media OutReach Newswire – 8 October 2026 – As businesses across Indonesia and Southeast Asia accelerate their use of artificial intelligence (AI), NUS Business School is exploring a different question: as AI gets better at providing answers, how can leaders get better at asking questions?

For more than a century, case-based learning has put students in the shoes of business leaders by giving information they need to analyse a problem, and then ask them how they would solve it.

Now, artificial intelligence (AI) is changing what it means to solve a case. Since January 2026, NUS Business School has been piloting an AI-enabled approach in which students are given an AI-simulated problem where they must determine what information they need, decide whom to ask, evaluate the answers they receive and make a recommendation under uncertainty.

The simulation is built on ScholAIstic, a generative AI platform developed by the NUS AI Centre for Educational Technologies (AICET) to support roleplaying and simulation-based learning.

Dr Emir Hrnjić, a Senior Lecturer in Finance at NUS Business School, has been working with AICET to adapt and refine these capabilities for management education, developing executive personas around the business case.

To date, the tool has now been used by close to 100 MBA and Executive MBA students across Singapore and Jakarta, many of whom are senior executives.

Sharpening the human instinct behind good decisions

In the pilot, students interview AI-simulated executives, including a Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Product and Technology Officer, each offering a different perspective to the same business situation. Students must navigate these perspectives, assess the information they gather and reach their own conclusions.

After each interview, students receive personalised feedback on on their questioning, allowing them to reflect and adapt their approach in subsequent interviews.

Dr Hrnjić said: "Students must decide what they need to know, ask the right questions, challenge what they hear and exercise judgement without having the complete picture. The aim is not to replace that human instinct with AI, but to sharpen in by helping students become more discerning about what to ask and trust. That is much closer to how leaders make decisions in the real world."

Early findings suggest that effective use of AI is not about asking more questions but about asking the right ones. Analysis of interview transcripts showed found that stronger interviews had more targeted questions, follow-ups and adaptation as new information emerged, rather than simply working through a prepared list.

The findings point to a broader role for generative AI in management education. Rather than using AI primarily to search for information or generate answers, the technology can recreate the real-world scenarios, sharpening executives' judgement to better navigate uncertainty and competing perspectives they face in real organisations.

NUS Business School sees potential for similar AI-simulated tools to be applied to other areas of business education where students need to question stakeholders, negotiate competing interests and make decisions under uncertainty. The ambition is to move beyond the largely static information environment of the traditional case towards a dynamic one where students actively acquire information, pursue emerging lines of inquiry, challenge assumptions and exercise judgement as the problem unfolds.

The simulation is one part of NUS Business School's broader approach to integrating AI into education. The school is exploring how AI can enhance, rather than replace, meaningful learning, thereby helping students develop the judgement, critical thinking and adaptability needed to navigate an increasingly AI-enabled workplace.

This becomes increasingly important as AI takes on a greater role in business. Companies across Asia, including Indonesia, are rapidly adopting AI across their operations, making the ability to question and assess AI-generated information an increasingly important leadership skill. For Indonesia, the economic stakes are significant. A 2020 study by Kearney and EDBI projected that AI could contribute US$366 billion to the country's GDP by 2030, equivalent to 12 per cent of projected GDP.Hashtag: #NUSBusinessSchool
