The Baipulonggou Scenic Area in Baiyu Village, Nyingchi City, southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region, has embraced its most beautiful autumn scenery, with its snow-capped mountains providing popular hiking routes for visitors.

The primitive, naturally generated, forest is ablaze with colorful foliage, while the sky is a deep blue and clouds roll like an ocean.

Over the past two years, emerging tourism services have brought nearly 4 million yuan (around 598,000 U.S. dollars) in revenue to Baiyu Village, which has received more than 30,000 tourist visits in total.

According to the latest statistics from the Nyingchi Culture and Tourism Bureau, since the Lhasa-Nyingchi Railway opened in June 2021, rural tourism in Nyingchi has received over 15 million visits, engaged 157,000 farmers and herders, and generated total revenue of 614 million yuan.

Yemen's Houthi group said Saturday it is ready for reciprocal measures with Saudi Arabia to keep airports, seaports and other facilities with humanitarian functions outside the escalating military confrontation.

In a statement carried by Houthi-run al-Masirah TV, the group expressed readiness for "all parties" to refrain from targeting sites of humanitarian importance, identifying airports and seaports as a priority.

The statement comes as the confrontation between the Houthis and Saudi Arabia intensifies, with airstrikes on Houthi-held areas in Yemen continuing and the group launching missile and drone attacks against targets inside the kingdom, including airports.

Yemen has been mired in conflict since late 2014, when the Houthi group seized the capital Sanaa and much of northern Yemen. A Saudi-led coalition intervened in 2015 in support of the internationally recognized Yemeni government, which is now based in the southern port city of Aden.
