Aiello integrates with Shiji Infrasys POS to enable AI-powered F&B ordering across the hotel

2026-10-13 11:00 Last Updated At:12:45

Integration connects voice, mobile and phone-based AI interactions directly with hotel POS operations, creating a seamless path from guest dining requests to order fulfillment.

TAIPEI, Oct. 13, 2026 /PRNewswire/ --  Aiello, an enterprise AI company specializing in conversational AI and natural language technologies, today announced the integration and certification of its Aiello Call Agent, Aiello Voice Assistant (AVA) and GuestWeb solutions with Shiji Infrasys POS.

The integration connects AI-powered guest interactions across voice, mobile and phone channels directly with hotel food and beverage operations. Guests can browse dining options, ask questions, receive menu recommendations and place orders through voice or text across multiple hotel touchpoints, with confirmed order information automatically transmitted to Infrasys POS.

By connecting guest-facing AI channels with hotel POS operations, the integration creates a more seamless end-to-end F&B service journey, from dining discovery and recommendations through ordering and fulfillment. Hotels can give guests more convenient access to dining services throughout their stay while simplifying operational workflows and creating additional opportunities to increase F&B revenue.

For hotels using both Aiello solutions and Infrasys POS, GuestWeb provides a mobile interface where guests can browse dining options, view menus, ask questions and place orders. Guests can also order by phone through Aiello Call Agent or interact with Aiello Voice Assistant using natural voice commands.

Together, these AI-powered touchpoints enable hotels to make dining services available across different stages and locations of the guest journey rather than limiting digital ordering to a single channel or setting. Once an order is confirmed, relevant information can be automatically transmitted to Infrasys POS, streamlining the process from guest interaction and order creation to F&B team fulfillment.

"Infrasys POS serves as a critical link between guest demand, service workflows and food and beverage operations. Through our collaboration with Aiello, guest dining requests can flow directly from AI-powered interactions into operational order workflows," said Simon Le Touze, Senior Director of Partnerships at Shiji Group. "This extends the role of AI beyond the guest-facing experience and into day-to-day hotel operations. It also expands how Infrasys POS can support hotels in building more automated, personalized and commercially valuable service models."

Depending on each hotel's operating model and service requirements, Aiello and Shiji can also explore more advanced applications involving service charges, discounts, bundled offers and other configurable dining options.

Drawing on more than 200 million guest interactions and its hospitality deployment experience, Aiello's voice and text AI agents can help hotels identify patterns across different times of day, service scenarios and market preferences.

When a guest expresses a dining need, such as "I'm hungry," "What do you recommend?" or "I'd like to order food," Aiello's AI can use the hotel's configured menu and service information to recommend relevant dishes or combinations and guide the guest through the ordering journey.

By connecting discovery, recommendation and ordering through GuestWeb, Aiello Call Agent and Aiello Voice Assistant, hotels can shorten the path between guest intent and purchase across multiple service channels, creating additional opportunities for F&B ordering and upselling while supporting guest engagement and revenue growth.

At Holiday Inn & Suites Saigon Airport, GuestWeb currently handles more than 450 F&B orders per month. Within 60 days of launch, the solution generated an average of approximately US$8,400 in additional monthly F&B revenue.

In September 2026, Crowne Plaza Changi Airport also connected Aiello Call Agent with its F&B ordering workflow, extending the guest journey from phone-based inquiries to dining purchases and providing another commercial application for AI-powered guest interactions.

"AI should do more than improve the guest experience, it should create measurable operational and commercial value for hotels," said Vic Shen, Founder and CEO of Aiello. "Our integration with Infrasys POS represents an important step in building a more connected AI hospitality ecosystem. By linking guest conversations across multiple touchpoints directly with F&B systems, we are moving AI from simply understanding intent to executing service, helping hotels improve operational efficiency while creating more opportunities for dining conversion and revenue growth."

Aiello and Shiji will continue to explore additional AI-powered food and beverage applications and system integrations based on the operational needs of hotels and markets, with the goal of further automating hospitality service workflows.

JINZHONG, China, Oct. 13, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- A news report from China Daily:

The seventh International Ancient Capitals Forum and 2026 Global Mayors Dialogue took place in Luoyang, Henan province, from Friday to Sunday.

The events showcased Luoyang's character, industrial strength and cultural charm, with important releases on topics including the protection of archaeological sites and the creative use of cultural heritage.

Home to abundant historical relics and a growing urban population, the city has in recent years sought to protect and revitalize heritage sites while balancing preservation and utilization.

Through long-term efforts, Luoyang has transformed protected cultural relics into archaeological parks. It has adopted measures including building new urban areas away from the old town and explored tailored plans for individual sites, making progress in bringing its heritage to life.

First carved after Emperor Xiaowen of the Northern Wei Dynasty (386-534) moved the imperial capital to Luoyang, Longmen Grottoes are a world-famous UNESCO World Heritage Site and a treasure trove of stone-carving art.

To better protect and pass on this gem of Chinese culture, the Longmen Grottoes Research Institute conducts conservation and restoration work, technical research, heritage monitoring and digital preservation.

Projects tackling hazards such as water seepage, unstable rock masses and weathering are steadily advancing, gradually forming an overarching conservation framework for the grottoes.

The Sui-Tang Luoyang City site is another typical example. It served successively as the capital or secondary capital of the Sui (581-618), Tang (618-907), Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms (907-960) period and Northern Song Dynasty (960-1127) for more than 530 years, representing the pinnacle of ancient Chinese urban planning and architectural craftsmanship.

Around 2005, low-rise dwellings, enterprises and factories dotted the site. Residents hoped for better living conditions, enterprises sought to expand production, while the site required standardized protection and revitalization.

To balance heritage protection with improvements to residents' lives, a total of 973 households, nearly 3,300 villagers and 63 enterprises were relocated from the site between 2007 and 2024. Within its palace core zone, 62 hectares of land were freed up for heritage display.

The city also integrated urban green spaces, ecological zones and water-source reserves in planning and building a nearly 200-hectare botanical garden.
