2026-10-13 20:00 Last Updated At:21:15

NEW YORK, Oct. 13, 2026 /PRNewswire/ --aosu's SolarCam T2 is a dual-lens solar-powered security camera designed to deliver clearer detail at distance without requiring wired installation. The camera combines two simultaneous 3K views—a wide overview and a separate telephoto view—allowing homeowners to monitor both the broader scene and distant subjects at the same time.

Dual-Lens Design Delivers Two 3K Views Simultaneously

SolarCam T2 uses two lenses with different focal lengths to capture activity across large outdoor areas. The wide lens preserves the full scene and movement context, while the 8 mm telephoto lens narrows the field of view so distant subjects fill more of the frame. Both feeds appear stacked in the mobile app, enabling users to follow the broader situation while inspecting distant detail simultaneously.

In controlled product tests, facial detail remained visible at approximately 15 meters (49 feet) in daylight, while vehicle-plate detail was captured at approximately 10 meters (33 feet) at night with supplemental lighting. The camera offers 1–8x hybrid zoom, with digital enlargement available on either feed.

All Day Snapshots and Always Ready Vision

The camera includes two features designed to narrow the functionality gap between wireless and wired systems:

  • All Day Snapshots saves one still image every five minutes, creating a timeline that shows changes between ordinary motion clips and helps answer questions about daily activity.
  • Always Ready Vision keeps an energy-saving visual stream active at about one frame per second, helping normal event recording begin sooner when activity is detected.

Flexible Night Vision and Active Deterrence

SolarCam T2 offers color and infrared night vision. Color night vision activates the built-in spotlight during detected activity to preserve visible details such as clothing and vehicle color after dark. Infrared night vision provides a discreet black-and-white view without a white spotlight, suitable for areas near windows or neighboring homes.

When triggered, the camera can flash a red warning light and sound a loud siren to deter unwanted visitors. Two-way talk provides an additional option for direct communication.

360-Degree PTZ Tracking with Solar Power

SolarCam T2 uses pan-and-tilt movement with 360-degree horizontal rotation to track activity across driveways, yards, and property lines. The separate solar panel allows the camera to turn toward activity while the panel remains aimed toward sunlight. The camera carries an IP65 weather-resistance rating and supports both SD card storage and cloud storage options.

Ideal Use Cases

SolarCam T2 is best suited for long driveways, broad yards, vehicle areas, detached structures, and outer property lines where both overview and closer inspection are needed. For example, homeowners can get a closer view of someone approaching a driveway gate while keeping nearby vehicles and the surrounding yard visible in the wide view.

It will also examine how to close the gap between the classroom and real-world industry to foster future leaders. Dr. Fanny VONG, Rector of Macao University of Tourism, will also attend the event. The Forum has also arranged a dedicated Health and Wellness Industry Inspection Tour, leading participants to visit the Macao Union Medical Center as well as key infrastructure developments across the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin.
