The regional conflict should not divert the international attention from the Palestinian question and the ceasefire agreement regarding Gaza must be effectively implemented, said Ministry of Foreign Affairs Spokeswoman Mao Ning at a press briefing in Beijing on Friday.

Mao was responding to a media query on current situation in Palestine.

"The Palestinian question lies at the heart of the Middle East issue, and the two-State solution is the fundamental way out of the Palestinian question. With persistent tensions in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, we believe that the regional conflict should not divert the international attention from the Palestinian question, the ceasefire agreement regarding Gaza must be effectively implemented, and humanitarian access must be guaranteed," said Mao.

"Recently, President Xi Jinping put forward four principles for resolving the Palestinian question, namely upholding the two-State solution, upholding the principle of 'Palestinians governing Palestine,' upholding humanitarianism, and upholding fairness and justice. These principles reflect China's sense of responsibility as a major country regarding the Palestinian question and embody the international community's call for justice. China will continue to stand on the side of international justice and, together with all peace-loving nations, firmly support the two-State solution and work for a comprehensive, just and lasting solution to the Palestinian question at an early date," said the spokeswoman.

As the sweet-scented osmanthus flowers reach full bloom in Pucheng County, east China's Fujian Province -- known as "China's hometown of osmanthus" -- the region is experiencing a surge in tourism and a thriving flower-processing industry.

A thousand-year-old osmanthus tree located in Linjiang Town has become a major draw, attracting visitors from across the country.

Tourist Wu expressed delight at the experience.

"On the way to Pucheng, the plants lining both sides are all osmanthus trees -- it was such a pleasant surprise. When the wind blows, it carries a sweet fragrance, making me very much refreshed and happy," said a tourist surnamed Wu.

The blooming period is also a harvest season. In Pucheng's Xianyang Town, workers are busy collecting osmanthus flowers to produce this year's osmanthus tea.

Beyond tea, the orange osmanthus flowers are processed into various specialty products including osmanthus honey and pastries. The local industry now spans seedling cultivation, fresh flower harvesting, scented tea processing, and cultural tourism, forming an integrated supply chain that extends well beyond sightseeing.
