The XTEINK X4 Pro impressed with its exceptional portability and reading features.

NEW YORK, Oct. 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- XTEINK, the pioneer of ultra-portable e-reader devices, is honored to announce that its X4 Pro e-reader has been selected by Time Magazine as one of the Best Inventions of 2026. Portable, comfortable, and capable, the XTEINK X4 Pro earns a spot on the prestigious list for its exceptional reading experience enabled by its crisp e-ink display, warm front light, long battery life, and compact design.

"We've relentlessly pursued innovation over tradition since day one," said Crusoe Hu, founder and chief executive officer of XTEINK. "With our magnetic-native system and ultra-thin, lightweight design, we continue to push the boundaries of what e-readers can be. In parallel with hardware, we are building an ecosystem of licensed content, apps, and an open developer community, unlocking new possibilities without compromising portability. We believe true innovation lies in putting people first and empowering them to read and explore freely. It's why we started, and it's what we will live by."

Carry the Entire Library in the Pocket

Time Magazine highlighted the X4 Pro's portability as a key feature in the award description. Equipped with a 4.3-inch e-ink display and measuring just 5.95mm thin, the X4 Pro easily slips inside pockets that would challenge larger e-readers. Moreover, the X4 Pro can magnetically attach to the back of a compatible smartphone or case. This magnetic attachment system turns the X4 Pro into an extension of the smartphone, silently encouraging users to read whenever they pick it up. And with 16GB of internal storage (expandable up to 256GB through a MicroSD card slot), it can easily transfer and convert books or comics via the dedicated XTEINK App. Supports EPUB, TXT, MOBI, PDF formats, plus cloud-based AI features for real-time news subscriptions, weather, and schedule updates. And weighing just 72 grams, it doesn't feel heavy, either.

Reading Built on Freedom

Another welcomed feature, as noted by Time Magazine, is the X4 Pro's front lighting. With adjustable brightness and temperature settings, the lighting improves visibility of the X4 Pro's sharp Carta 1300 display and reduces eye strain.

Additionally, the X4 Pro lets users flip pages with either its physical buttons or a touchscreen, allowing users to choose or switch between a tactile or a seamless experience.

To eliminate battery anxiety, the X4 Pro features an upgraded 1,100mAh battery that can last up to a week.

These features work together to make reading a natural part of people's busy lives.

A Distraction-Free and Versatile Experience

The X4 Pro preserves the fun of reading a physical book with its simple software interface: free of ads, distracting apps and ecosystem lock-ins. From opening the box to turning the first page, the experience is effortless for readers of all levels. As Time Magazine underscored: the unlocked firmware lets users upload their own ebooks without worry or restrictions.

Outside of reading, the X4 Pro can turn into a personal ID card, a clock, a calendar, or a task tracker. While these features are just a few taps away, they never clutter the main interface where books always take center stage.

Availability

The XTEINK X4 Pro is available on Amazon and XTEINK's website.

"LIVE FROM YEONNAM : HYUKOH" Brings Together Artists, Grassroots Venues and Local Communities in Seoul

  • Held on October 11 in Seoul's Yeonnam-dong neighborhood, featuring live performances, a block party and a music flea market
  • Brought together grassroots music venues, artists and local creatives as part of Marshall's global KEEP LIVE MUSIC ALIVE campaign
  • Drew an estimated peak attendance of approximately 1,350 visitors, bringing Marshall's MADE OF LOUD brand philosophy to the local live music scene

SEOUL, South Korea, Oct. 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Marshall successfully concluded "LIVE FROM YEONNAM : HYUKOH," held on October 11 at Channel 1969 and the nearby Dongjin Market parking area in Seoul's Yeonnam-dong neighborhood. The event featured live performances by HYUKOH and other artists, alongside a music flea market and block party, highlighting the local venues and communities that contribute to live music culture.

"LIVE FROM YEONNAM : HYUKOH" was held as part of Marshall's global KEEP LIVE MUSIC ALIVE (KLMA) campaign. The initiative supports grassroots music venues and local music communities where emerging artists and new music cultures take shape, helping create an environment in which live music can continue to thrive. Through the event, Marshall brought together artists, venue operators, local creatives and audiences to share in the experience of live music.

Channel 1969, one of the event's main venues, is a grassroots live music venue that has worked with Marshall since the early stages of its local music initiatives in Korea. The venue hosted live performances by OYSTERS, SAILORHONEYMOON, Tiger Disco and HYUKOH. Meanwhile, the nearby Dongjin Market parking area hosted a music flea market and block party, with performances from Channel 1969 livestreamed to the outdoor space so visitors could enjoy the music both inside and outside the venue.

According to on-site attendance estimates, the event attracted up to approximately 1,350 visitors. Around 150 audience members attended the live performances at Channel 1969, while attendance at the Dongjin Market area increased after 6 p.m., reaching its highest level between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. The event demonstrated how live music experiences can extend beyond a single venue to engage a wider range of local spaces and communities.

The event also marked the first local activation in Korea to bring Marshall's MADE OF LOUD brand philosophy to life following its introduction earlier this year. MADE OF LOUD reflects Marshall's longstanding connection to live music, artists, venues and music communities. Through this platform, Marshall is reinforcing its commitment to music culture and the people behind it, extending its role beyond consumer audio products.

"Marshall has stood alongside artists, music venues and music lovers for more than 60 years," said Issei Iimura, Head of Marketing, Korea, at Marshall. "Guided by the philosophy of MADE OF LOUD, we will continue to spotlight and support the people and places where live music begins and grows."

Following the Yeonnam-dong event, Marshall plans to expand its LIVE FROM series to other locations, music genres and online and offline communities. The series will form part of Marshall's continued KEEP LIVE MUSIC ALIVE activities, through which the brand aims to strengthen its collaboration with grassroots venues, artists and local music communities across Korea.
