Toku Deploys Contact Centre for Glovo Across 21 Markets in Seven Weeks

2026-10-22 17:44 Last Updated At:19:45

Four deployment waves in four days took Toku Contact Centre live for Glovo under a new order, in Toku's fastest deployment of this scale.

  • Scope: Glovo's customer service operation across 21 markets in Europe, Central Asia and Africa, with 70 call flows
  • Delivery: kick-off on 15 August 2026 and go-live on 2 October 2026; four deployment waves in four days, with a rehearsed rollback that was never needed
  • Context: a new order separate from the sales operations agreement announced in February 2026, under which Glovo's sales teams went live on Toku in four markets in June 2026

SINGAPORE, Oct. 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Toku Ltd. (SGX: TKU) ("Toku" or the "Company", and together with its subsidiaries, the "Group"), a Singapore-headquartered AI-powered customer experience (CX) platform, has deployed Toku Contact Centre for Glovo, the Barcelona-headquartered multicategory on-demand app, across 21 markets in Europe, Central Asia and Africa, under a new order covering Glovo's customer service operation. The deployment is live, and Glovo's contact centre teams now handle calls on Toku in every market.

Glovo moved to Toku Contact Centre across all 21 markets, running on Toku's cloud-native platform, while its operations stayed live. Every country has its own operator, numbering and routing, so each market was effectively a separate deployment with its own requirements. The programme included 70 call flows, the routing rules that decide how each call is handled.

Toku has built its business in complex, fragmented markets like these, with customers across Asia Pacific, Latin America and the Middle East. The Glovo deployment draws on that experience.

Thomas Laboulle, Founder and CEO of Toku, said: "Deploying a contact centre across 21 countries while it is live is like changing the engines of a plane in flight, because you cannot land to do it. Our team and Glovo's worked as one across three continents to make that happen in about seven weeks. It shows what Toku Contact Centre and our delivery team can do at this scale."

Kick-off was on 15 August 2026 and go-live on 2 October 2026, seven weeks later. Enterprise contact centre migrations of this size are typically planned over six to twelve months, according to published industry guidance. Go-live week ran in four waves over four days, with a rollback path that was rehearsed in advance and never needed.

Aleix Capdevila, Senior Director Marketplace Experience at Glovo, added: "Scaling our customer operations across 21 diverse markets while keeping services live for our users is an incredible operational challenge. Toku's technical expertise and close collaboration with our IT and operations teams enabled us to execute this massive migration in just seven weeks without interruption. This deployment provides our teams with a robust, unified platform to deliver fast, reliable support as we continue to scale."

The customer service deployment is covered by a new order separate from the sales operations agreement announced in February 2026, under which Glovo's sales teams went live on Toku in Spain, Italy, Romania and Portugal in June 2026.

NEW YORK, Oct. 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The Hilco Global IP Services practice today officially released the first additional details about its offering of the Omniverse Collection, created by Stan Lee. The portfolio includes more than 200 characters, story worlds, trademarks and other largely unexploited creative assets. Three properties will stand out for many buyers: The Femizons, Slam-Girl, and The Accuser. Offers are due by 12:00 noon ET, December 8, 2026. The firm was engaged by Stan Lee Holdings, Ltd. (SLH) to conduct the sale.

The Collection captures Stan Lee's visionary effort to reinvent super hero entertainment for the Internet age through original characters, connected digital worlds and audience participation. A buyer has an opportunity to extend Lee's historic creative legacy by developing new characters, expanding existing worlds and creating interactive experiences for global audiences.

The Femizons is a female-led franchise introduced by Stan Lee in 1971 and rebooted in 1991. The franchise of heroes and villains includes more than 40 characters, is set in a world where women hold dominant societal power, and carries a heritage and modern-day relevance that few properties can match.

Slam-Girl, created by Stan Lee with animation director Will Meugniot in 2000 as the internet-age super hero for the new millennium, is a reluctant, budding feminist heroine with a twist on the classic origin story. Shirrel Rhoades, the former Marvel Entertainment executive vice president and Stan Lee confidant advising SLH, calls her Stan's intended next generation super hero.

The Accuser, also created by Lee in 2000, is a former attorney turned super hero. Paralyzed by a horrific attack that also killed his wife, a mysterious benefactor then gifts him a wheelchair which transforms into mechanized armor capable of moving his legs. The Collection includes 22 webisodes, a TV script, and an opportunity to evolve a character with a special connection to differently abled people globally.

"The Omniverse Collection constitutes original IP with meaningful creator provenance, substantial creative flexibility, and room for a new owner to define the canon, audience, and commercial strategy," said Eric Hurwitz, Senior Director of the Hilco Global IP Services practice. "This is a compelling value proposition for a studio, publisher, game company, licensing business, entertainment operator, or strategic investor."

"These are pieces of a living universe in which characters can be created, experienced, and expanded across every form of media," added Shirrel Rhoades, Stan Lee Collaborator and Former EVP at Marvel Entertainment. "I look forward to seeing how the Collection's acquirer applies their own vision to achieve, and even surpass, the future that my friend and colleague, Stan Lee, imagined for these creations."

Parties can contact Eric Hurwitz at ehurwitz@hilcoglobal.com or Stella Silverstein at ssilverstein@hilcoglobal.com to register interest and access collection documentation in the official data room. More details are forthcoming.
