With autumn in full splendor, east China's Jiangsu Province is seeing a surge in tourism consumption as it rolls out diverse activities and creates new ways for residents and tourists to enjoy the season's scenery.
The Mount Maoshan Scenic Area in Jiangsu's Jurong City has recently become a popular spot for local residents to camp.
"The environment here is great, the atmosphere is nice, and it really feels special," said Zhao Wenhao, a tourist.
A local campsite at the scenic area has added a series of autumn-themed offerings on top of its existing camping and barbecue services, responding to the growing preference among campers for light travel.
"As the weather cools, we'll be adding a tea-brewing package where guests can gather around a stove to make tea. We've also set up many new photo spots for visitors and residents to have sightseeing and take pictures," said Wang Jinyi, a staff member at Fangshan Yunya campsite.
Yangzhou City in Jiangsu has also entered its most colorful autumn viewing season. At a scenic spot, more than 100 rare chrysanthemum varieties are in full bloom, drawing visitors from near and far to experience the vibrant beauty of autumntime splendor.
"There are so many varieties of chrysanthemum, and their forms are beautiful. The shapes they take in full bloom are really captivating," said a tourist surnamed Xu.
