NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct 29, 2026--

Lisa Flynn Namm, former Director of Brand and Public Relations at LBMC, a Top 35 national accounting and advisory firm, has launched LFN Consulting, where she serves as Chief Brand and Trust Officer, helping CEOs build trusted executive brands that put their companies on buyers’ shortlists.

“Think about a CEO who learns a competitor won business over their company,” Namm said. “They were qualified to win it but never made the shortlist. Their expertise deserved consideration. Their authority and visibility hadn’t caught up.”

LFN Consulting offers three primary services:

“As CEOs plan for 2027, the question is whether the people and expertise they’re counting on for growth are known to prospective buyers,” Namm said. “When a company’s authority is visible to the right people, it creates more opportunities for growth. My job is to make sure the right people see it.”

In a 2026 Semrush survey, 92% of B2B professionals who use AI at work said it has shaped their vendor shortlist, making visible expertise more important than ever. Hinge Research Institute’s 2026 High Growth Study found high-growth professional services firms were 2.6 times as likely to have highly active experts producing and promoting thought leadership.

Experience Built Inside a Growing National Firm

Namm brings more than 25 years of experience across national brands, healthcare and professional services. During her 14 years at LBMC, the firm grew from $57 million to approximately $241 million in revenue and expanded from three offices to seven U.S. locations and an office in India.

Namm led communications and earned media for most of the firm’s acquisitions. She also helped launch its Transaction Advisory Services practice and its AI and Data Transformation service line. Her brand and visibility work helped turn the firm’s website into a consistent source of inbound pipeline.

Before LBMC, Namm co-owned Tampa Bay Partners, serving national brands including Budweiser, Tabasco, ConAgra and Coca-Cola. Her earlier experience includes Cigna and healthcare public relations.

“AI can make a CEO easier to find. It can’t make them trusted,” Namm said. “Trust is built by listening closely, asking the right questions and applying judgment that only comes from years of real conversations with leaders and buyers. I use AI to work faster and smarter, but the strategy starts with people.”

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Ottawa Senators forward Hayden Hodgson received a game misconduct and major penalty for boarding Los Angeles Kings defenseman Brandt Clarke on Thursday night.

Hodgson took a run at Clarke, charging in at 21 mph according to the game broadcast. Clarke was just below the goal line when he was driven into the boards. The hit caused a brief scrum, and the Kings' Erik Haula received a two-minute penalty for roughing Hodgson.

Clarke was ruled out for the rest of the game for what the Kings called an upper-body injury.

The play with 8:45 left in the second period came shortly after the Kings scored three goals in 4:03 to take a 4-1 lead and chase goalie Jonas Johansson.

Hodgson has played in only 24 NHL games over five seasons, but including Thursday has amassed 51 minutes in penalties.

Ottawa committed six penalties in the first two periods, and the Kings took advantage with power-play goals from Haula and Artemi Panarin to take a 5-1 lead into the third.
