2026-10-30 16:14 Last Updated At:16:55

HONG KONG, Oct. 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Eco Expo Asia 2026 will be held from 26 to 29 October 2026 at AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong. This year's expo will focus on green technology innovation and sustainable development, highlighting Hong Kong's potential as a regional hub for green innovation. It will explore how advanced technologies can accelerate the transition to net zero, promote smarter and more resilient energy systems, and drive the development of a low-carbon economy.

As an AI ClimateTech company incubated by the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), Stellerus Tech will showcase its innovative technologies in extreme weather monitoring, urban flood forecasting, energy infrastructure resilience, marine environmental monitoring, and satellite remote sensing. These innovations demonstrate the potential of AI and satellite remote sensing technologies to enhance urban climate resilience and support the green transition.

On 26 October, Professor Hui Su, Chair Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at HKUST and Co-Founder and Chairlady of Stellerus Tech, delivered a keynote presentation at the Eco Asia Conference – "Next-generation Green Technologies" Session.

Her presentation, "Monitoring Greenhouse Gas Emission Point Sources from Space: The MUSICO Mission on China's Space Station," introduced the MUSICO, developed by an HKUST research team and deployed aboard China's Tiangong Space Station in May 2026. Professor Su highlighted the scientific breakthroughs and potential applications of high-resolution greenhouse gas monitoring from space.

MUSICO is capable of monitoring carbon dioxide (CO₂) and methane (CH₄) at a spatial resolution of approximately 100 meters, enabling the identification of individual emission sources. This capability provides more precise and objective observational data for emissions monitoring, verification, and carbon management.

As a sponsor of the MUSICO project, Stellerus Tech is actively promoting the commercialization of space-based observation data and exploring applications in corporate carbon management, emissions verification, and green finance.

During the conference, Dr. Mingyuan Hu, Chief Product Officer (CPO) of Stellerus Tech, delivered a presentation titled "Spaceborne Hyperspectral Data-Driven Physical AI: Building an Integrated Earth Intelligence Service Platform." He shared the company's technological innovations and strategic vision in Physical AI and Earth intelligence services.

Dr. Hu introduced the Feilian Constellation, a flagship project led by the company's co-founders. Positioned as the world's first hyperspectral satellite constellation designed for 3D wind field observations, the constellation aims to establish a core meteorological data foundation for a global Earth intelligence platform, targeting 25 times higher global wind field resolution and more than a 20% improvement in forecast accuracy.

Stellerus Tech will use high-precision data from the Feilian Constellation, together with its proprietary hyperspectral payloads and Physical AI algorithms, to advance the development of next-generation AI weather models.

By combining satellite observations, meteorological models, and AI technologies, the company aims to build a next-generation Earth intelligence platform. This platform will provide accurate data and intelligent decision-making support for extreme weather forecasting, disaster risk early warning, renewable energy forecasting, and low-altitude aviation safety.

Five Innovative Technologies Showcase AI-Powered Urban Climate Resilience

At Eco Expo Asia 2026, Stellerus Tech is showcasing five innovative technology applications spanning meteorology, urban management, energy, marine environments, and Geological Hazard Risk Assessment:

Typhoon Wind Field Monitoring: The Hong Kong Coastal Typhoon Wind Field System features historical typhoon wind field replays, dynamic wind speed queries, and wind field analysis at different altitudes, supporting extreme weather monitoring and urban disaster preparedness.

3D Urban Flood Digital Twin: By combining high-resolution terrain data, drainage networks, and 3D simulations, the system predicts flood areas and water depths during heavy rainfall, supporting road risk warnings and emergency flood response.

Typhoon Resilience for Energy Infrastructure: By combining typhoon tracks, wind forecasts, and power grid data, the system supports wind turbine shutdown decisions, substation flood risk assessments, and power load management, helping energy systems better withstand the impacts of extreme weather.

Marine Environmental Monitoring: Using 3D ocean current simulations, the system analyzes coastal current speeds, directions, and changes, supporting storm surge risk assessments, coastal flood prevention, and marine management.

Satellite-Based Slope Monitoring: By combining InSAR, optical satellite images, and ground-based GNSS sensor data, the system monitors slope movement and improves landslide early warnings.

Together, these five applications demonstrate Stellerus Tech's ability to integrate multi-source environmental observations with Physical AI technologies, advancing climate risk management from environmental monitoring to predictive risk assessment and intelligent decision-making.

From Space to Industry: Advancing Green Technology Applications

As global climate challenges grow, AI, satellite remote sensing, and digital twin technologies are playing an increasingly important role in strengthening urban climate resilience and supporting the Green and Low-Carbon transition.

Stellerus Tech combines multi-source observation data with Physical AI to turn advanced research into intelligent solutions for urban disaster prevention, energy management, carbon emissions monitoring, and climate risk assessment.

Moving forward, Stellerus Tech will continue to advance satellite remote sensing and Physical AI technologies, accelerate the commercialization of research, and expand international partnerships. The company aims to support Hong Kong's development as a regional green technology innovation hub while contributing to urban climate resilience and global sustainable development.

MELBOURNE, Australia, Oct. 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Aeson Power demonstrated the versatility of sodium-ion technology across energy storage and automotive applications at All Energy Australia 2026, held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. At Booth G101, the company presented its latest solutions, highlighting sodium-ion technology's growing role in Australia's energy storage market.

Flexible Sodium-Ion Solutions for Residential Energy Storage

A key feature was the APSI2500-based sodium-ion battery system, designed for residential energy storage applications. Combining sodium-ion batteries with Aeson Power's proprietary Ecocase and Ecocab components, the system supports flexible capacity configurations to meet different household energy storage needs. With sodium-ion technology's safety advantages and wide-temperature operating capabilities, the system offers households a flexible energy storage option with safety as a key consideration.

Intelligent Energy Storage for Commercial and Industrial Applications

Aeson Power also presented the HaloDyne Na 120/119, an all-in-one liquid-cooled sodium-ion energy storage system for commercial and industrial applications. Its sodium-ion chemistry and multi-level fire protection are designed to enhance system safety. With 1C high-rate charging and discharging, the system delivers up to twice the rated power of a comparable 0.5C system with the same battery capacity. This makes it well suited to peak demand management, multi-peak energy arbitrage, and microgrid frequency regulation, where high power output can help reduce the battery capacity needed for specific applications and improve space efficiency.

Sodium-Ion Technology for Automotive Starting Applications

The exhibition also featured the NaForce sodium-ion starter battery series, demonstrating the growing commercial adoption of sodium-ion technology in the automotive sector. As part of Aeson Power's established product portfolio, NaForce reflects the company's efforts to bring sodium-ion innovation into practical, real-world automotive applications.
