AIKO signs 1 GW of Gen 4 agreements at All-Energy Australia

AIKO signed 1 GW of Gen 4 agreements at the Australian debut of its new range, the next step in a market where it has delivered 1 GW and become installers' No. 1 choice in under three years.

MELBOURNE, Australia, Nov. 4, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- AIKO signed 1 GW of Gen 4 agreements with its Australian distribution partners at All-Energy Australia in Melbourne (28–29 October), where its new Gen 4 back-contact range made its Australian debut ahead of local release.

The agreements reflect strong demand for AIKO's back-contact solar from Australian installers and customers, and come as AIKO passes 1 GW of panels delivered in Australia, marking the next stage of the company's rapid growth in the market.

From global leader to local favourite

During AIKO's gala dinner at All-Energy week, Alex Hang, Head of APAC, AIKO, shared positive news as the company returned to profit in the third quarter of 2026, becoming the only leading PV module manufacturer to do so. The result is in line with the rapid growth of AIKO's ABC business, with shipments projected to grow at a compound annual rate of 191% between 2023 and 2027.

He also reflected on AIKO's growth journey in Australia since entering the market in 2024.

"When we arrived in Australia, back contact was new to most installers. Today, it is the panel so many of them choose for their own roofs," said Alex Hang. "That journey belongs to the partners, installers and customers across Australia and New Zealand who put their trust in AIKO early. With Gen 4 and a growing local team, we are ready to deliver, and ready to scale."

The numbers show how quickly AIKO has become a local favourite. It has overtaken long-established brands to become the No. 1 panel brand in OpenSolar quoting, with close to 20% of active monthly solar proposals nationwide. Installers have backed it too, voting AIKO No. 1 in the SolarQuotes Installers' Choice Awards in both 2025 and 2026 and ranking it the best panel in SolarCalculator's 2026 Solar Installer Survey, with an average score of 9.4 out of 10. That trust has been earned one installer, one roof and one customer at a time, through product quality, reliable delivery and local support.

AIKO sees that growth as a contribution to Australia's energy transition. By bringing back-contact technology to Australian rooftops at scale, it has helped raise expectations of what a panel can deliver from limited roof space, giving households and businesses more energy and more value from every installation.

Committed to Australia for the long term

Looking ahead, AIKO is matching strong market demand with a long-term commitment to Australia. It is expanding its local team, with a focus on commercial and industrial (C&I) and utility-scale solar and a growing presence in New Zealand, and working closely with its distribution partners to bring the benefits of back-contact solar to more Australian homes and businesses.

At All-Energy, the company also displayed a solar carport solution in partnership with local partner Canyon Solar, a Mittagong, New South Wales, business that designs prefabricated, modular solar canopies. Built with AIKO panels, the carport gives facilities whose roof space is already exhausted, or too limited for the system they need, a way to generate more clean energy from the space they already have.

Together, these efforts serve one goal: making back-contact solar more accessible, and maximising its value for every customer.

"We're incredibly proud to have delivered our first gigawatt of ABC solar to Australian homes, and to have become the panel of choice for so many households in under three years," said Thomas Bywater, Head of AIKO ANZ. "As Australia moves to unlock its 'missing middle' through the expanded rebate for systems up to 1 MW, AIKO is working closely with its distribution partners to bring high-efficiency solar solutions to commercial rooftops, helping Australian businesses access the full value of solar."

Gen 4 panels will be available in Australia following Clean Energy Council listing.

Global businesses can collect, hold, convert and pay across currencies on Finmo's own licences. Finmo Treasury users can now move funds in real time from the same platform that manages their global cash position and forecast.

SINGAPORE, Nov. 4, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Finmo, the treasury operating system for global businesses, today announced the launch of the Finmo Business Account, a multi-currency account for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that operate across borders. Businesses receive local account details in their own name to collect funds in more than 45 currencies, hold more than 27 currencies and make payments to more than 195 countries and territories. Finmo provides every collection, conversion and payment directly, under its own licences and through its payments partner network.

The Business Account also extends Finmo Treasury. Treasury users already see their cash position and forecasts across every entity and bank. Now they can also move funds in multiple currencies in real time, from the same platform.

SMEs that transact internationally often hold accounts with several providers. They decide whether to convert, hold or pay with only part of the picture. Many keep larger idle balances than they need, or convert funds they later need back.

"Businesses have usually had to choose between a provider that moves their money and software that shows them where it is," said David Hanna, Co-Founder and CEO of Finmo. "Because Finmo holds the licences and partnerships to move money itself, the Business Account closes that gap. A company can see its position and act on it in one place, on infrastructure we operate."

What the Business Account offers SMEs

  • Get paid like a local: local account details in the company's own name, so customers pay in their own currency.
  • Convert on your terms: no forced conversion. Businesses convert only when they choose.
  • See the cost first: fees and exchange rates are shown before every conversion and payment.
  • Pay globally: bulk payouts, bill payments and scheduled transfers.
  • Keep the books in sync: transactions synchronise with leading ERP and accounting platforms.
  • Put surplus cash to work: money market funds.
  • Built for teams: unlimited users, with approvals for the people who move money.

Licensed money movement, operated by Finmo

Finmo is the licensed provider behind the Business Account; the account doesn't run on another company's platform. Finmo holds 11 licences and regulatory permissions across eight markets, including a Major Payment Institution licence from the Monetary Authority of Singapore. Businesses move more than US$1 billion through Finmo every month.

A module within Finmo Treasury

For businesses that also use Finmo Treasury, the Business Account works seamlessly across the platform. Finmo Treasury consolidates balances across a company's entities and its accounts at other banks into a single cash position, provides a 13-week cash flow forecast, and monitors cash balances to proactively manage counterparty exposure, FX risk, and minimum balances. With the Business Account in the same platform, a finance team that spots idle cash, a funding gap or a currency it should convert can carry out the conversion or payment without leaving Finmo. MO AI, Finmo's built-in AI agent, is rapidly evolving to bring greater intelligence, strategy management, and execution continuity to users.

"Treasury platforms have long been good at showing companies their cash, but they have depended on banks to act on it," Hanna added. "We spent years securing licences across eight markets so Finmo could do both. With the Business Account, licensed money movement now sits inside a treasury platform, and that is central to where we are taking the company."
