From Grid to Device: Exploring the Technologies Transforming the Energy Ecosystem
SHANGHAI, Nov. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Mouser Electronics, Inc., the New Product Introduction (NPI) leader™ empowering innovation, supports design engineers with its online alternative energy resource center by providing technical content and practical insights for developing cleaner, more efficient, sustainable and decentralized energy systems. This resource center supports advances in renewable generation, energy harvesting, and smart grids, connecting emerging energy concepts with the components and design approaches needed to implement them.
Renewable energy is evolving from an emerging technology area to a core consideration in component and system design. Mouser's resource center provides engineers with insights into the electronics and infrastructure needed to make energy reliable, sustainable and scalable, including energy storage, smart grids, sensors, power electronics, IoT, and AI.
New forms of energy rely on an interconnected ecosystem of technologies working together. From next-generation solar cells to self-powered IoT devices, this ecosystem is becoming increasingly decentralized. Perovskite-silicon tandem solar cells could enable more efficient and versatile renewable generation, while decentralized power grids can help integrate energy generated across homes, businesses, and local systems. At the device level, energy harvesting takes this shift further by enabling IoT sensors to capture power from sources such as light, heat, and vibration. Together, these technologies demonstrate how energy generation and management are moving closer to where power is needed.
Mouser's technical team and trusted manufacturer partners regularly update the resource center with articles, blogs, eBooks, and new products for alternative energy solutions from top manufacturers. These resources help engineers understand where energy technology is heading and how emerging energy systems can enable scalable, real-world solutions.
Mouser stocks the industry's widest selection of semiconductors and electronic components, including the newest solutions for alternative energy applications. Here are a few examples of new products:
- The AEM13921 ultra-efficient energy manager PMIC by e-peas harvests and manages energy from multiple sources, including photovoltaic, RF, vibration, and pulsed sources. The PMIC captures, stores, and delivers energy to support low-power IoT, smart building, and industrial sensing applications.
- The HC-STAK 35 high-voltage interconnection system from TE Connectivity transfers high-voltage power between batteries, inverters, motors, and power distribution systems while reducing resistance and power loss in electric and hybrid vehicle architectures.
- The TLE9012DQU Li-ion battery monitoring and balancing IC by Infineon Technologies monitors and balances lithium-ion battery cells by measuring voltage and temperature and coordinating cell balancing, helping optimize battery performance and reliability across electric vehicles and energy storage systems.
- The Altivar™ ATV320 solar variable speed drives (VSDs) from Schneider Electric convert and manage solar energy to directly power motors in applications, such as pumping and irrigation, while switching to grid power when available solar energy cannot meet the demand.

Former Okta and SAP strategy leader brings AI, platform and M&A expertise to accelerate Cellebrite's growth
TYSONS CORNER, Va. and PETAH TIKVA, Israel, Nov. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Cellebrite (Nasdaq: CLBT), a global leader in AI-powered Digital Investigative and Intelligence solutions for the public and private sectors, today announced the appointment of Rogerio Rizzi as executive vice president of Corporate Strategy and Development. An engineer by training, Rizzi joined Cellebrite from Okta, Inc., where he established the Corporate Strategy team and will now lead the build-out of Cellebrite's strategy and development capabilities.
Rizzi brings more than 20 years of experience at the intersection of technology and strategy, advising leaders on AI, technology and growth. At Okta, he ran the company's growth strategy for six years and charted its path to $3 billion in annual recurring revenue (ARR). As a close advisor to the leadership team, he developed the decision framework that aligned Okta's functions around that plan.
"Rogerio and I worked together at Okta, and I have seen firsthand how he develops a growth strategy and a decision framework that accelerates growth and moves a leadership team forward in alignment," said Shiv Ramji, CEO of Cellebrite. "He is bringing that same rigor, along with deep experience in AI, technology and M&A, to Cellebrite. We are charting an ambitious growth path together to better serve our customers."
Before Okta, Rizzi led Corporate Strategy at SAP SE, where he drove platform consolidation and set strategy for the company's cloud, platform and emerging technology businesses, including AI and machine learning. At Hewlett Packard Enterprise, he led corporate strategy as a vice president advising the CEO, Executive Committee and Board of Directors. Earlier, he spent 10 years as a partner at Monitor Group, a strategy consultancy, where he co-led the Chicago and São Paulo offices.
"I'm thrilled to join Cellebrite and help Shiv and the team lead with a targeted, bold strategy that amplifies our value to all key stakeholders and accelerates our growth," said Rizzi. "Cellebrite leads its space with real trust and credibility, and the demand is clear and growing everywhere." Rizzi also brings a personal view of the mission. "I grew up in Brazil, where safety on the streets is a serious concern. The fastest way I see to address those problems is through access to effective technology. The faster we deploy our solutions, the safer the world becomes."
Rizzi started college at 16 to study electrical engineering and worked on microchip design and neural networks in the 1990s. He holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and a degree in electrical engineering from the University of São Paulo.
