In addition to honouring the outstanding contributions of scientists in Greater China through its prestigious awards, the Future Science Prize is equally committed to inspiring the next generation of scientific talent. This morning (8 November), the 2026 Future Science Prize Week (“Prize Week”), co-organised by the Future Science Awards Foundation and the Hong Kong Academy of Sciences, held the Laureates' Dialogue with the Youth at the Hong Kong Science Museum. The three laureates of the 2026 Future Science Prize – Hong ZHANG (Life Science Prize), Dongyuan ZHAO (Physical Science Prize), and Xinyi YUAN (Mathematics and Computer Science Prize) – engaged in face-to-face discussions with nearly 200 local secondary school students.
