The Chinese pangolin appears in many places in Guangdong
The Chinese pangolin is a national first-class protected animal, which is endemic to China. And its staple food is termites and ants. It has dark hard scales on its head and body surface. Pangolins have low fecundity, generally giving birth to only one litter per year and only one cub per litter. Fortunately, the Chinese pangolin has recently been found in Dongguan, Heyuan, Jiangmen and other places in Guangdong province. This is closely related to the growing ecological environment in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the growing awareness of wildlife protection.
