A video depicted a man with red panty was tied to a lamp post and being thrown eggs and poured ink. This is not a scene of bullying but one part of a Chinese wedding ritual.
According to a Chinese media, this wedding scene took place in Ankang, Shanxi Province. The groom was made to wear red panty or even red lingerie and accepted all kinds of 'blessings' from friends and relatives, including pelting eggs and pouring ink.
However, these acts were strongly decried by netizens as 'vulgar and unsightly' though a Chinese wedding planning staff claimed those 'blessing' could bring fortune.
DEIR AL-BALAH, central Gaza (AP) — Dozens of brides were dressed in traditional Palestinian prints, while grooms wore suits with keffiyehs around their necks as they walked hand-in-hand past drummers and guests who waved Palestinian flags in a mass wedding held in central Gaza on Friday.
