Over 30 large-scale AI models are on display at the ongoing 7th Digital China Summit that opened on Friday in Fuzhou, capital city of east China's Fujian Province.

The large-scale AI models are showcased at the on-site experience area which fully opened to public on Saturday and at the Artificial Intelligence Industrial Ecology Conference held on the same day.

From what is shown in the on-site experience area, more and more enterprises are applying large-scale AI models in diverse fields such as medical care, finance, and marketing.

"Large-scale AI models are now evolving towards vertical fields, industry sectors, and even specific enterprises within industries," said Du Guowang, an exhibitor.

"For example, in terms of electronic medical record generation, our large-scale AI models can produce a structured medical record within 15 seconds by identifying the doctor-patient conversation," said Yan Liang, another exhibitor.

Some people argue that developing large-scale AI models yields little return while requiring significant investment. In response to this sentiment, some exhibitors hold a different opinion.

"I think there are still some economic benefits. For certain assembly line tasks, replacing humans with large-scale AI models can actually save a significant amount of manpower and material resources," said Chen Yifan, also an exhibitor.

"I believe this year is pivotal for the realization of large-scale AI models. While we are still providing free services for ordinary clients, many other service providers have now begun to offer paid services," said Wu Na, an exhibitor and service provider.

The TIR operation officially started on Sunday between Suifenhe City, northeast China's Heilongjiang Province and Russian capital Moscow as vehicles bearing TIR signs departed from the Chinese city on the border of the two countries.

TIR, which stands for Transports Internationaux Routiers or International Road Transports, is an international customs transit system to help save time and money for transport operators and customs authorities when moving goods across borders.

China joined the TIR Convention in July 2016 to simplify and streamline administrative formalities of international road transport.

Currently, more than 80 countries have joined the TIR system.
