The world largest single-cluster intelligent computing center, China Mobile Intelligent Computing Center, came into operation on Friday in Harbin, capital city of northeast China's Heilongjiang Province.

Boasting some 18,000 AI acceleration cards and a computing power of 6.9 EFLOPS, the facility features the largest computing power scale for a single cluster and the largest scale of domestically-produced network equipment networking.

The intelligent computing center integrates all AI accelerator cards into one cluster to support the training of large models with trillions of parameters.

Using advanced smart computing network technology to connect thousands of GPU chips like "building blocks," the center significantly enhances communication efficiency between GPU nodes and reduces the time to complete data training by 20 percent, thus forming a super computing power cluster.

"It has a computing capacity equivalent to that of over three million high-performance PC per second. The single cluster boasts the capacity of a group and reduces transmission time, meaning that the facility can effectively complete the computing task for an entire group within itself," said Yan Wen, project manager of planning and construction department under China Mobile's Heilongjiang company.

The total debt of the U.S. federal government has climbed to approximately 41 trillion U.S. dollars, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said at a policy forum in Washington on Friday.

Bessent said that the U.S. government is formulating a fiscal consolidation plan to reduce its growing federal budget deficit and ease pressure from issuing national debt.

This plan is expected to be announced after the November 3 midterm elections, according to Bessent.
