China is willing to work with Indonesia to implement the states leaders' important consensus, striving to bring benefits to the two countries and their people through joint maritime development and cooperation, said a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman on Monday.

The Ministry's spokeaman Lin Jian made the statement in response to a reporter's question about a joint statement released on Saturday on advancing the comprehensive strategic partnership and the China-Indonesia community with a shared future.

"China has always advocated shelving disputes and seeking for joint development, always committed to working with its maritime neighbors to better manage disputes, promote cooperation, maintain stability, and achieve win-win results through joint maritime development. China is willing to work with Indonesia to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, getting relevant cooperation results to benefit the two countries and their people at an early date," said Lin.

"At the same time, China is willing to actively explore maritime cooperation, including joint development, with other maritime neighbors. The cooperation document on joint maritime development signed by China and Indonesia mainly clarifies the political consensus and direction of cooperation between the two sides in joint development and cooperation in the sea areas where the two countries have overlapping claims. The two sides will further discuss specific issues such as the content and way of cooperation," the spokesman said.

Russia said on Friday that its forces had carried out multiple strikes on Ukrainian targets with high-precision weapons over the past week, while Ukraine on the same day reported repelling attacks from Russian forces.

According to Russia's Defense Ministry, over the past week, Russian forces conducted strikes on Ukraine's defense, energy and transport infrastructure, and controlled nine settlements in the Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kharkiv directions.

On Friday, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced that 98 battles occurred in the front-line areas over the past day, with Ukrainian forces repelling multiple Russian offensives. Ukrainian missile units, air force, and artillery conducted strikes against multiple Russian targets.

Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, stated Friday that Russia's claim of a Ukrainian drone attack on Russian presidential residence was false information and lacked credible evidence.

The claim was intended to delay negotiations and sow discord between the United States and Ukraine, he said.

Earlier on Monday, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said in a statement that Ukraine launched 91 long-range attack drones at a presidential estate in the Novgorod region late Sunday into early Monday.
