The death toll from Israeli attacks on Lebanon since the beginning of the current round of Israeli-Hezbollah conflict had reached 3,452, with injuries rising to 14,664, said the Lebanese Health Ministry on Saturday.

According to media reports, several places including southern suburbs of Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, came under intense airstrikes by the Israeli military on Saturday, with loud explosions echoing and thick smokes rising from multiple locations.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) issued a statement saying that the Israeli army conducted airstrikes against Hezbollah targets in the southern suburb of Beirut, targeting Hezbollah's weapons depot, command center and other facilities.

The IDF also reported launching raids on the southern Lebanese city of Tyre and several villages in southern Lebanon on the same day.

In separate statements on Saturday, Hezbollah announced that it destroyed an Israeli tank with a guided missile in the village of Chamaa, southern Lebanon.

The group added that it had continued to target multiple gatherings of Israeli soldiers and vehicles with rockets and drones.

On Saturday night, air raid sirens sounded in the northern Israeli city of Haifa. The IDF reported that 10 rockets were fired from Lebanon toward Haifa, and some were intercepted by Israeli forces.
