The Harbin Ice-Snow World, the world's largest ice-and-snow theme park, has welcomed more than 2 million visitors five weeks after its opening, setting a record high for the annual winter wonder that has delighted guests for 26 years.

Located in Harbin, the capital of northeast China's Heilongjiang Province and covering an area of one million square meters, the Harbin Ice-Snow World presents a silver-blanketed wonderland that features radiant assortment of stylish ice and snow statues and modeling designs, creating a crystal and mysterious fairyland.

The park, with the theme "Dream of Winter, Love Among Asia," was opened on Dec. 21, and it integrates many elements of the Harbin 2025 Asian Winter Games.

International gold and silver prices dropped steeply on Monday as surging crude oil futures strained market liquidity, while a stronger U.S. dollar and rising 10-year treasury yields added further pressure on precious metals.

Gold futures for June delivery on the New York Mercantile Exchange fell 2.39 percent to 4,828.8 U.S. dollars per ounce, while silver futures for July delivery settled at 73.522 dollars per ounce, down 3.81 percent.

In China, several major gold retailers lowered prices to below 1,400 yuan (about 205 U.S. dollars) per gram on Tuesday.
