As guests of previous years will know, the Stronger Men’s Conference is a powerful annual gathering organized by James River Church that assembles men of all ages and backgrounds. The event brings together these devoted Christian fathers, sons, and husbands while allowing them to brush off the distractions of their everyday lives and grow stronger in their connection with God.
The 2025 edition of the Stronger Men’s Conference will take place on April 11–12 at Great Southern Bank Arena in Springfield, Missouri. This year’s conference is shaping up to be just as incredible as past years—if not even more miraculous.
The Friday Night Entertainment is always one of the biggest crowd-pleasers and showstoppers at the Stronger Men’s Conference. It’s a night that allows men to connect and grow in strength in Christ while enjoying world-class athletic entertainment. In recent years, James River Church has organized thrilling promotions for the Friday Night Entertainment, including BMX and motocross races, professional bull riding competitions, and even professional MMA matches and boxing events.
The Stronger Warrior Competition will be unlike anything guests of the conference have ever seen. The ATS Team, known for making the most exciting obstacle and Warrior courses, has custom-built a head-to-head obstacle course for the Stronger Men’s Conference. Some of the most amazing athletes from across the country, including American Ninja Warrior Champion Daniel Gil, will attempt to conquer the complex obstacle course. The athletes will be testing and showcasing their endurance, strength, and will on the way to becoming the ultimate Warrior. At the end of the evening, only one champion will be left standing.
Aside from the Friday Night Entertainment, James River Church has once again organized a thrilling list of world-class, faith-based guest speakers for the Stronger Men’s Conference. Guests in attendance this year include Pastor Earl McClellan of Shoreline City Church in Dallas, Texas; Pastor Chad Veach of Zoe Church in Los Angeles, California; Pastor Louie Giglio of Passion City Church in Atlanta, Georgia; and of course, hosts and Pastors Brandon and David Lindell of James River Church. These speakers make it their mission to empower other men to be great and continuously strengthen their connection with Jesus.
The Stronger Men’s Conference regularly sees some of history’s greatest Christian athletes grace its presence. Guests in recent years have included UFC Hall of Famer Matt Hughes, four-time NFL Pro Bowler Derrick Johnson, NFL quarterback Kirk Cousins, and even MLB Hall of Famer Mariano Rivera. This year’s event will also have a special athlete in attendance: NFL kicker and three-time Super Bowl Champion Harrison Butker.
