SINGAPORE, April 30, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Allianz Insurance Singapore has launched Recycle My Tyres, a first-of-its-kind recycling initiative by an insurer in Singapore, encouraging more sustainable tyre disposal practices and reducing automotive waste.
This programme, created in partnership with Singapore-based tyre recycler Global Enviro Technology, enables car owners to drop off used tyres at participating Allianz-authorised workshops. Tyres are then collected, pre-processed, and transformed using proprietary, patented, advanced RF (radio frequency) plasma pyrolysis technology into materials like recovered carbon black, syngas, and steel—giving tyres a second life instead of being incinerated or ending up in landfills. Global Enviro Technology is a regional pioneer in this space with its sustainable methodology & zero-waste practices.

The Recycle My Tyres programme is available to the general public to participate in. Interested drivers can visit participating Allianz-Authorised workshops to drop-off used tyres and have them recycled at no extra cost.
