Russia strikes Ukrainian military-industrial enterprises, Ukraine hits areas of concentration of Russian troops, weapons

Russian forces struck Ukrainian military-industrial enterprises and ammunition depots over the past day, Russia's Defense Ministry reported on Wednesday, while Ukraine said its soldiers attacked areas of concentration of Russian troops and weapons over the past 24 hours.

Russian air defense system shot down 125 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over the past day, Russia's Defense Ministry reported, noting Russian troops controlled another settlement in the Donetsk region.

Ukraine said the same day that its soldiers attacked areas of concentration of Russian military personnel, weapons, and military equipment over the past 24 hours, noting that Ukrainian troops were hit by Russian drones in Kharkov and some other places.

Meanwhile,Russian regional Governor Vladimir Saldo said on Thursday that the Ukrainian army carried out a drone strike on a market in the town of Alyoshki in the Kherson Region, killing seven people and leaving over 20 injured.

The central parity rate of the Chinese currency renminbi, or the yuan, strengthened 20 pips to 7.0108 against the U.S. dollar Monday, according to the China Foreign Exchange Trade System.

In China's spot foreign exchange market, the yuan is allowed to rise or fall by 2 percent from the central parity rate each trading day.

The central parity rate of the yuan against the U.S. dollar is based on a weighted average of prices offered by market makers before the opening of the interbank market each business day.
