The 2025 Shandong International Friendship Cities Cooperation and Exchange Week and Governors' Dialog started in Jinan, the provincial capital of Shandong in east China, on Tuesday.
The event, aimed to further boost economic and trade cooperation and people-to-people exchange between Shandong cities and others around the world, has gathered nearly 1,000 foreign guests from over 70 cities of 47 countries.
During the week, various activities will take place, including the signing of agreements between sister cities and economic and trade cooperation meetings.
Shandong has established sister city partnerships with 702 cities in 106 countries around the world.
