The conflict between Russia and Ukraine continues to intensify, with both sides reporting military developments over the past 24 hours.
On Thursday, Russia's Ministry of Defense announced that its forces had repelled Ukrainian attacks in multiple directions, including Sumy, Kharkiv, and Donetsk. According to the statement, Russian air defense units shot down six guided bombs and 123 Ukrainian drones. Additionally, Russian forces claimed control over three settlements in the Kharkiv region and other areas.
On the same day, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that more than 200 combat engagements occurred along the front lines over the same period. Ukrainian forces targeted 11 Russian concentration points of troops, weapons, and equipment, as well as one drone control center. Ukrainian air defenses reportedly destroyed 81 Russian drones.
