CMG to stage gala for International Children's Day on June 1

China Media Group (CMG) -- the nation's flagship broadcaster -- will air a special gala performance for children at the prime viewing time of 20:00 on Sunday night to mark the International Children's Day and to deliver a cultural feast for young audiences nationwide.

The gala features an exciting mix of musical and dance performances, cartoon medleys, and traditional Chinese Opera performance.

It brings together a diverse lineup, including children's art groups, talented young singers, and renowned artists. Through creative choreography and innovative arrangements, the event will showcase the energetic and positive spirit of children in the new era.

In addition to the main event and sub venues, CMG hosts have traveled across the country to interact with children in various local regions, celebrating the festival together with them.

The gala will be broadcast simultaneously on multiple platforms including CCTV-1 Channel, CCTV-14 Channel, yangshipin.cn and cctv.com.
