Outstanding radio, TV, mobile audio-visual professionals meet press

Five outstanding professionals of radio, television, and mobile audio-visual services met with Chinese and foreign reporters at a press conference in Beijing on Friday to share their work experiences.

Among them are Teng Congcong, a screenwriter and director, Zhang Sheng, chairman of Dingsheng Jiahe (Beijing) Culture Communication Company, Yu Lei, director of China Media Group's Spring Festival Gala 2025, Chen Ying, deputy manager of the Technology Department of China Broadcast Network, and Yeshi Droma, anchor of Xizang Radio and Television Station.

They discussed how to produce high-quality TV programs, empower film making with new technologies, and improve the quality of broadcasting network transmission.

The meeting focused on remembering the original aspiration and mission of radio and television services and serving the people whole-heartedly.

The U.S. share of global GDP under President Donald Trump has fallen to its lowest level since 1980, Russian news agency RIA Novosti reported on Saturday.

RIA Novosti said data from the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund show that U.S. purchasing power parity sank to 14.65 percent last year.

That's compared to an average of 14.93 percent during former President Joe Biden's four years in office.
