Crowds of demonstrators gathered in the Iranian capital Tehran on Friday to show solidarity with the Iranian government, while denouncing Israel and the United States for continued expansion of airstrikes.

Exclusive footage from China Media Group (CMG) shows protesters chanting anti-American and anti-Israeli slogans at a subway station, expressing their opposition to the U.S. and Israeli actions.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said in a statement that more than 25 of its fighter jets struck and destroyed over 35 missile storage and launch facilities in the Tabriz in northwest Iran's East Azerbaijan Province and Kermanshah areas in the west on Friday.

According to the IDF, more than 50 Israeli fighter jets carried out overnight strikes on targets in Tehran.

The IDF stated that the overnight strikes targeted Iran's alleged nuclear weapons program, including the building of the Organization of Defensive Innovation and Research, the program's headquarters, as well as another facility that produced a critical component for the program.

The Tehran strikes also targeted industrial sites involved in the production of surface-to-surface missile components.

The IDF also added that three missile launchers that were on standby, and a military commander who was operating to launch the missiles were also attacked in the overnight strike.

It noted that in recent days, its fighter jets had also attacked Iranian missile and radar systems in the Isfahan and Tehran areas.

The Iranian side confirmed that the Israeli attack on East Azerbaijan Province killed several members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
