Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold one-on-one talks with U.S. President Donald Trump before the meeting of delegations from both countries, Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakov said Thursday.

The talks will center on the settlement of the Ukrainian crisis and "the most pressing international and regional issues", Ushakov said.

The talks are scheduled at 11:30 local time (1930 GMT) in the Elmendorf-Richardson military base in Anchorage, the largest city in the U.S. state of Alaska.

After the two leaders' one-on-one meeting accompanied by interpreters, the delegations from both countries will join the talks in a "five-on-five" format.

The Russian delegation will include Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Ushakov, Defense Minister Andrey Belousov, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov, and Putin's investment chief Kirill Dmitriev, the Kremlin aide said.

Putin and Trump will hold a joint press conference following the talks, he added.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Thursday that there would be no planned signing of any document between Putin and Trump after their meeting on Friday, but the two leaders will report on the outcomes of the meeting at the press conference.

Peskov mentioned that all preparations for the meeting have been completed, adding that this meeting will discuss the settlement of the complex and multifaceted Ukrainian crisis. He cautioned against trying to predict the results of the meeting, calling it "a big mistake".

Peskov stressed that Russia and the United States are currently engaged in bilateral discussions to address the Ukrainian crisis, and Ukraine's opinions will be taken into consideration in the future, but not in the form of bilateral contacts between Russia and Ukraine.
