The official website of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit 2025 Media Center was launched on Monday, pledging to provide comprehensive, full-chain, and multimedia information services for accredited journalists.
Designed in the principles of "clarity, functionality, and international orientation," the website features seven sections including News Release, Media Announcement, and Appointment Application, all available in Chinese, Russian, and English interfaces.
The website will continuously update the latest summit news and offer services such as venue reservations, text download and video materials, and registration for city tours.
A dedicated section for Tianjin, the host city, is established to present the urban landscape, culture, and history of Tianjin. And an app of the website was also launched simultaneously.
"The upcoming SCO Summit in Tianjin will receive nearly 3,000 Chinese and international journalists. We will guarantee the operation of the Media Center website, and deliver comprehensive, convenient, and efficient information services to all journalists," said Bian Yutao, head of the online operation and management team of the SCO Summit 2025 Media Center.
The SCO Summit 2025 will be held from Aug 31 to Sept 1, with leaders from more than 20 countries and heads of 10 international organizations set to attend.
