The second China International Low-altitude Economy Development Conference opened on Friday in Xi'an, the provincial capital of Shaanxi in the northwest, drawing over 100 leading companies from home and abroad.
The three-day event highlights the important position of low-altitude economy as a strategic emerging industry, and Shaanxi's progress in promoting the industry and institutional innovations.
Eight enterprises, including the Italian aerospace cluster Digisky and Chinese high-tech start-ups, have signed agreements on joint research and development, construction of comprehensive service bases and regional supervision centers, and international strategic cooperation during the conference.
The conference also features an expo on Belt and Road Low-altitude Economy Industrial Chain. Covering a floor space of 10,000 square meters, the exhibition attracts over 20 professional buyer groups from BRI partner countries and more than 100 leading domestic and foreign enterprises, expected to receive more than 30,000 visitors.
A series of forums, seminars, investment promotions and matchmaking events will be held during the conference, in the hope to bring up more fruitful results in cross-regional and cross-field cooperation and build Xi'an into a national demonstration benchmark for low-altitude economy development.
