Two compilations of the discourses by Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, on work related to women, children and women's federations, as well as on strengthening family ties, values and traditions, have been published in Russian, French, Spanish and Arabic, following the release of their English edition.
The foreign-language editions, published by the Central Compilation and Translation Press, are expected to help international readers gain a deeper understanding of Xi's views, along with China's proposals and approaches for advancing gender equality and promoting the all-round development of women worldwide.
The publication of Xi's discourses in more foreign languages came as China is set to host the Global Leaders' Meeting on Women in Beijing from Monday to Tuesday.
