China holds summit to enhance global image of enterprises

The 2025 Chinese Enterprise Global Image Summit opened in Hefei City of east China's Anhui Province on Sunday.

With the theme "Leading with Technology, Shaping an Intelligent Future," this edition of the summit brought together renowned scholars, diplomats, authoritative figures from domestic and international business communities, to jointly explore innovative pathways for international communication and communicating the image of Chinese enterprises from a global perspective.

During the event, the results of the selection for the call for cases on Chinese enterprises' international image building were officially announced, covering multiple fields such as green development, technological innovation and international cooperation, cultural integration and value co-creation.

The video category was included in this year's selection, along with the previous text and image categories, all showcasing the efforts and achievements made by Chinese enterprises in building their international image.

The Chinese Enterprise Global Image Summit has been held for 12 consecutive years and has become an influential event and an important platform for promoting Chinese enterprises to the outside world and enhancing their global image.

Senior Communist Party of China (CPC) official Li Shulei attended a reception celebrating the Ninth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) held by the embassy of the DPRK in China, in Beijing on Tuesday.

Li, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, extended warm congratulations on the successful convening of the Ninth Congress of the WPK on behalf of General Secretary Xi Jinping and the CPC Central Committee.

Li said that China is willing to work with the DPRK to implement the important consensus reached by the top leaders of the two parties, strengthen strategic communication, deepen practical cooperation, enhance the well-being and friendship of the two peoples, and make due contributions to regional peace, stability, development and prosperity.

DPRK Ambassador to China Ri Ryong Nam said the DPRK side is willing to work with the Chinese side to follow the will of the top leaders of the two parties, and strengthen unity and cooperation in the process of advancing the socialist cause.
