All major ski resorts in Shenyang City, in northeast China's Liaoning Province, have opened for the winter season, attracting an influx of winter sports enthusiasts eager to hit the slopes.

After waiting for nearly a year, skiers and snowboarders of all ages flocked to the resorts on opening day, ready to kick off the season.

"I love skiing, so I came as soon as the ski resort opened," said visitor Lin Shuxing.

"This is my third time skiing. It felt so exciting gliding down the slope. I will come again," said Liu Zhinhuo, a child skier.

To enhance the visitor experience, several resorts in the city have upgraded their facilities and trail designs.

"This year, we expanded our beginner slopes and optimized the gradient of certain trails to offer a more comfortable and enjoyable skiing experience for the skiers," said Han Na, deputy general manager of a ski resort.
