China Media Group (CMG) presented its latest technology innovations for the media sector at the ongoing 2025 Bridge Summit in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The Bridge Summit, a flagship conference and exhibition covering the full spectrum of media and entertainment industries, opened on Monday, with a focus on the role and responsibility of the media in bridging divides.

According to the organizer, the event, running until Wednesday, has attracted over 60,000 participants worldwide, with more than 300 sessions and activities.

Zhang Yiming, Chinese ambassador to the UAE, and media officials from the United Arab Emirates, visited CMG's booth during the event.

An immersive experience project titled "Exploring the Chinese Space Station" has received widespread acclaim from visitors at the summit. According to Zhang, the project has the potential to spark exchanges between China and countries in the region.

"This is truly a brand-new experience. Leveraging the latest technologies, it offers global audience a first-person perspective of being physically present at the Chinese Space Station. In recent years, cooperation between China and Arab countries in the aerospace field has been deepening steadily. This immersive experience is sure to enable more people from all walks of life in the UAE to gain a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the achievements in China's aerospace development, which will undoubtedly lay a solid foundation for the future cooperation between the two sides in the aerospace field," said the ambassador.

Media professionals from other countries have also expressed strong interest in more cooperation with China.

"Undoubtedly, China's advanced experience in the media industry can serve as a valuable reference for other countries in fields such as media, art, ways of thinking, and public opinion," said Mutaz, a media industry insider from Egypt.

CMG has also highlighted its latest technological breakthroughs in artificial intelligence (AI) and ultra-high definition media. Key showcases include a broadcast-grade miniaturized 8-K Ultra High Definition camera and high-quality content co-created with generative AI platforms.

At least 20 people were killed and 57 others injured in Israeli airstrikes across Lebanon over the past 24 hours, according to official figures released on Friday.

The latest casualties bring the cumulative death toll to 1,021, with a total of 2,641 people wounded since the escalation of hostilities on March 2.

Meanwhile, displacement continues to rise sharply as ongoing strikes force more residents to flee their homes. A total of 134,616 displaced people are currently sheltering in 644 centers across the country, the figures show.

Efforts to accommodate displaced populations remain under strain as the humanitarian situation deteriorates amid continued airstrikes.

Hezbollah entered the confrontation on March 2 by launching rockets from southern Lebanon toward Israel for the first time since a ceasefire on Nov. 27, 2024, prompting Israel to carry out an intensified military campaign targeting multiple areas across the country.
