Several countries have reaffirmed their commitment to the one-China principle and firm support for China's just cause of opposing Taiwan separatism and striving for national reunification.

The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday said that Russia opposes any form of action by separatist forces and reaffirmed the country's commitment to abiding by the one-China principle.

According to the ministry, some countries claim to uphold the one-China principle but simultaneously advocate for maintaining the status quo, meaning that in reality, these countries do not recognize the complete reunification of China and hope to use the Taiwan question as a pretext to contain China.

The ministry reiterated that Russia's principled position on the Taiwan question is well known and remains consistent, having been confirmed multiple times by the highest leadership. Russia acknowledges that Taiwan is an inalienable part of China and opposes any form of action by the separatist forces in Taiwan. Furthermore, Russia believes that the Taiwan question is China's internal affair and that China possesses all legitimate rights to safeguard its national sovereignty and territorial integrity, the ministry said.

On Monday, Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar stressed that Pakistan firmly supports China on all core issues, including upholding the one-China principle.

Dar reiterated that Pakistan recognizes that Taiwan is an inalienable part of China's territory and the government of the People's Republic of China is the sole legal government representing the whole of China.

On the same day, Venezuelan Foreign Minister Yvan Gil issued a statement on social media, firmly opposing U.S. arms sales to China's Taiwan region and reaffirming support for the one-China principle.

The statement emphasized that the U.S. arms sales to Taiwan interfere in China's internal affairs, violate Washington's international commitments, infringe upon China's sovereignty and territorial integrity, and represent a blatant threat to peace and security in the Asia-Pacific region.
