In addition to the traditional celebration activities of throwing wishing placards, the festival this year will continue to feature a Chinese New Year market with 72 stalls selling dried goods, food, as well as offering games and musical performances. Since this year is the Year of the Horse, two full-scale horse models and a replica of the Arc de Triomphe will be on display, allowing visitors to experience the fun of "leading the winning horse".
The Lam Tsuen Wishing Square will send a performance team to participate in the Chinese New Year Night Parade in Tsim Sha Tsui on February 17th for the first time this year. Themed "Light and Hope," the Lam Tsuen's float will feature a glowing wishing tree, colorful auspicious horses, and decorations of Hong Kong landmarks. The entire float will be powered by environmentally friendly mobile electricity, symbolizing Hong Kong's continued brilliance and vibrant progress.

Mr. Cheng Lun-kwong, the Chairman of the Lam Tsuen Wishing Square, stated that the 2025 well-wishing festival had attracted 300,000 participants. He believed that more residents and tourists would be attracted this year based on the Lam Tsuen's float, along with multiple photo spots featuring Year of the Horse elements at the festival. As for the price of the wishing placards, it will remain the same as last year, at HK$50 each.
During the festival, KMB will provide an additional 63R shuttle bus service to transport residents between Tai Wo Station and Lam Tsuen.
