The Israeli forces launched strikes across the northern, central, and southern Gaza Strip on Friday, killing at least three people, the Palestinian News and Information Agency (WAFA) reported.
In Beit Lahia of northern Gaza Strip, two people were killed in the strikes, while in Khan Younis of southern Gaza, an Israeli drone struck a tent sheltering displaced people inside a school, killing one person and wounding three others, according to the WAFA report.
The Israel Defense Forces said on Friday that several Palestinian gunmen were spotted emerging from underground infrastructure in eastern Rafah on Thursday, an act it described as a violation of the ceasefire agreement.
In response, the Israeli forces carried out precision strikes targeting armed Hamas personnel in Rafah from Thursday night into the early hours of Friday morning.
Hamas has not yet responded.
The ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas came into effect in the Gaza Strip on Oct 10, 2025.
