Russia has recorded a significant increase in demand for its energy resources due to the situation in the Middle East, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Friday.
Speaking at a regular news briefing, Peskov emphasized that Russia has been and remains a reliable supplier of both oil and gas, including pipeline gas and liquefied natural gas.
Russia can ensure stable energy supplies under all contracts, he said.
Regarding Iran, Peskov said Russia is in dialogue with Iran's leadership and will continue those contacts, but did not say whether the two countries are currently engaged in military-technical cooperation.
