Chinese stocks closed lower on Friday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.81 percent to 4,095.45 points.
The Shenzhen Component Index closed 0.65 percent lower at 14,280.78 points.
The ChiNext Index, tracking China's Nasdaq-style board of growth enterprises, dropped 0.22 percent to close at 3,310.28 points.
The ChiNext Index, together with the Shenzhen Component Index and other indices, reflects the performance of stocks listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
Chinese shares close lower Friday
Thousands of Greek citizens held a march and demonstration in the capital Athens Thursday evening to protest against the U.S. and Israel's attacks on Iran.
Protesters carried banners and chanted anti-war slogans in solidarity with Iran, calling on the United States and Israel to stop interfering in Iran's affairs, and demanding the closing of NATO bases in Greece.
"We are here in Athens, we are protesting against the vicious, imperialist war by the United States [and] Israel. We are here to support the Iranian people, their right to live freely, their right of self-determination," said Yanis, a protester.
"It goes without saying that it is against the international law. It is an act of cruelty to kill innocent people, but I also think they do not care about that at all." said Kostas, another protester.
After nearly 50 minutes of marching, the protesters arrived at the U.S. Embassy in Greece to express their dissatisfaction. Greek deployed a large number of police vehicles to block the embassy entrance to prevent escalation of the situation.
Due to the protest, multiple road sections in downtown Athens were closed to traffic on Thursday.
Greek citizens have held multiple protests since the United States and Israel launched military strikes against Iran.
